Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Manlius, NY. Lisa wanted to freshen up her spare bedroom and living room with new paint. She was planning to put her home up for sale in the spring and wanted to make sure it was show ready. To get her up to speed in that department she decided that painting the ceilings, walls and base molding would do the trick! So to start here centered and covered all the furniture with painters plastic, removed switch/outlet covers, taped and draped as needed. Dings and dents were filled with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and primed. Gaps and cracks along the base molding were caulked. The walls and molding were pole/hand sanded to dull the finish for new paint and to remove snags. Once the prep work was completed we applied one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint, one coat of the same wall colors matched using Benjamin Moore Regal Select in a eggshell finish. We wrapped this one up with one coat of BM's Impervo Bright White in a satin finish to pull it all together. Here's how it turned out.
