Recently Donigan Painting restored a home in the Sedgwick Neighborhood on Syracuse's Northside. The home owners cedar clapboard, window-door molding, soffit and eves needed minor scraping to remove peeling paint. After hand scraping the loose paint we hand sanded all surfaces to be painted, pressure washed the dust-dirt. When the house was dry we returned and oil primed the bare wood and applied one coat to each area using Sherwin-Williams Super Paint in a flat sheen. The home owners went with classic colors from the historic paint collection offered at Sherwin-Williams. Since we focus on providing a high quality finishes and the owners went with our recommended service plan we were able to warranty the work for 10 years. At Donigan Painting the owner is on site performing the work with a skilled crew, we are fully insured and we may not be the cheapest but we are not the most expensive giving our customers value they can see.
