Recently Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint for a commercial building on Teall Avenue that was formerly Carullis Upholstery. Mo and Mike just bought the building to convert it into a Burmese market in Syracuse. The block exterior was in great shape so only minor scraping and spot priming was necessary. The windows and doors on each side of the building were taped and masked with painters' plastic. Following this one coat of Sherwin Williams Super Paint matched to the original color was applied by sprayer and brush. The building came out fantastic and is ready for business! Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. Jen and Jay just inherited his late mothers home and needed to freshen it up to get ready to sell. After meeting with them to walk thru and discuss their needs the quote was sent and date set for work to begin about a month later. The house had been emptied out for the most part so setup went pretty quickly covering what furniture was left with painter plastic and covering the floors with clean drop cloths. Wall and ceiling repairs were made with joint compound, sanded and cleaned. One coat of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint was then applied brushed and rolled. Once it setup two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Classic Gray eggshell finish were applied brushed and rolled in each bedroom, and the first floor. The wood molding was primed using Purcell's PPG Seal Grip and caulked to fill any gaps around the base-window -door molding. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Enamel were applied to make this one shine. Thank you for the work and good luck selling your house!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint at US Ecosystems offices in East Syracuse. Heather called for a quote to paint 26 + rooms in their building. Most rooms were offices with a few hallways, bathrooms, and conference rooms. We started by centering each rooms furniture then covering it with painters plastic. Floors were covered with drop cloths and any other surface not being painted was taped and masked to protect them from over spray. Wall repairs were made with joint compound and the vinyl cove was removed so new base molding could be installed after painting. The walls were pole sanded to knock down any dirt or snags from previous work. Once prep work was completed one coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling paint was sprayed onto all the drop ceilings in each office. Following this two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec Simply White eggshell finish were applied brushed and rolled. Painters' plastic and masking was removed and the office furniture was reset when we finished.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Jamsville-Dewiit.

josh is moving to Syracuse from out of state. The house he bought was quite lived by the previous owner and their pets. Arrangements were made thru Vincent Ezzo of Howard Hanna Real Estate to complete and coordinate the project. IN this case the entire interior from top to bottom was being repainted. Since the house was empty setup was a breeze. Drop cloths, painters' plastic and paper were placed on the floors-cabinets-counters and fixtures. Prep work included Cailfornia wall repairs for large holes and spackling holes-dings-dents with joint compound. Cleaning also was a huge part of the prep work with hair everywhere. Once the prep work was completed one coat of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint was applied brushed and rolled. Once this setup two coats of the owners preferred color choices in Benjamin Moore were applied. The pantry and closets were all given a fresh coat of bright white. The master bathrooms ceiling was floated 3x's with joint compound to level out in consistencies from water damage, primed then top coated. Welcome to Syracuse!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. Ed and Ellen just bought a condo-townhouse. The dated wallpaper and colors had to go. After meeting to discuss their needs I gave them a quote on the spot that they accepted so we set the date. Work began promptly a few weeks later starting by protecting all floors-cabients-counters-fixtures with painters plastic and clean drop cloths. Walls were repaired with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and spot primed. Gaps and seams were caulked. Wallapaper in the bathrooms was stripped and the walls were thoroughly cleaned and sanded to remove the paste. Two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select Simply White eggshell was applied to all walls. The ceilings were sprayed with PPG's Ceiling Paint. The raised panel doors were removed, hardware was removed, machine sanded-cleaned then sprayed for a factory finish with Purcell's Advance Alkyd ultra white satin finish. to wrap this one up two coats of Advance was applied to all the molding to match the doors. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Josh is moving here from Florida and hired us to repaint all the rooms in his new home by Drumlins Golf Club. Vincent Ezzo of Howard Hanna refers Donigan Painting regularly for all types of jobs large and small. In this case , like many before, this client was out of state so we coordinated the effort from our laptops and phones without a glitch. To start all his harwood floors and carpet were covered with drop cloths. The kithen cabinets, counters, fixtures and hardware were taped and masked with paper and painters plastic. The oak molding throughout was protected. Prep work included floating the main bathrooms ceiling to sooth from water damage and other small wall and ceiling repairs. the walls were pole sanded to smooth and water stains on the ceiling were spot primed and coverd with one coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint rolled. Once the ceilings setup two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select were applied to each rooms walls brushed and rolled. Thank you for all the work and welcome to Syracuse Josh!

Recently Donigan completed an interior repaint in Jamesville's Southwood Neighborhood. Jon and Joan are longtime customers. This time around they wanted their oak kitchen cabinets painted an off white. After cojnting the cabinets and explaining the process it takes to achieve optimal results they signed off on the work. We began promptly about a onth later Monday morning. First we setup a spray area in their unfinished basement that contained the dust and fumes created from the sandiing and spraying. Once the plastic was setup the kitchen cabinet doors were removed and placced on a spray jig. Each side of the doors were machine sanded with fine grit sandpaper to remove the gloss finish. The same was done to the kitchen cabinet doors. Once sanding was completed they were vacuumed and wiped down. One coat of Purcells PPG Seal Grip Primer was then sprayed on each side of the doors and brushed-rolled onto the cabinets. After allowing the primer to cure for 24 hours the cabinets were sanded again-cleaned. Two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd were sprayed onto each side of the kitchen cabinet doors and cabinets. After allowing for setup time a second coat was sprayed on giving the cabinets a factory finish like what you find at Home Depot or Lowes Kitchen depts. New pulls were drilled and installed as well as new hinges.
