Interior Exterior House Painting Contractor Painter Kitchen Cabinets Syracuse New York

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse New York. Dan just bought a home close to Drumlins and needed the whole interior painted before he moved in. After meeting to discuss his needs, we agreed on the price and the work was scheduled for about two weeks later. Work began promptly two weeks later. Setup included covering the hardwood floors-carpet, masking counters-cabinets-hardware. Prep work included repairing nail holes-scratches, pole sanding walls, sanding the base-window-door molding, caulking seams, spot priming. One coat of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint was applied followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Simply White eggshell. The base molding was two coated with Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Enamel Ultra White semigloss. Thank you for the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Manlius New York. Maria and Bill Just bought a large contemporary off of Woodchuck Hill Road. Both are avid art collectors and wanted their walls to reflect their very expensive, extensive artwork collection. After meeting to discuss their needs at the house we agreed on the price of the work and set the date for about a month later. They were not living there yet so this helped them save some money. Work began promptly a month later Monday morning. We started with setup which included covering the hardwood flooring with clean drop cloths, the cabinets/counters with painters' plastic, masking all the windows. Two coats of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint Ultra White flat were sprayed throughout the house and brushed in in corners-seams. Next two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select were brushed and rolled onto the walls with colors of their choice. the doors were removed along with the hardware and setup in the basement in a spray area sealed with plastic. Before painting them, they were machine sanded with fine grit to remove the shiny finish and wiped down. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Enamel in decorators white were sprayed on for a flawless finish. After the doors setup for a couple days the new brushed nickel hardware was installed, and the doors rehung. Thank you for the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Meadow Brook Neighborhood. Richard and Bob just bought a home on Bradford Lane. they wanted to update the living room, entry, hallway and guest bedrooms colors on the walls only. After agreeing on the price work began pretty quickly. Since they had not moved in yet setup and prep was easier. What furniture they had there was centered and covered with painters plastic. The base molding in each room was taped out with a masker to keep paint from the walls of it since it was walls only. Prep work included filling nail holes and some light sanding. Two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar200 Antique White eggshell were brushed and rolled. They added on painting the inside of their kitchen cabinets which needed two coats of Purcell's Seal Grip Primer and two topcoats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Ultra White semigloss. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior in Manlius New York. Steve and Lucy wanted to change the colors in their living rooms, kitchen, foyer and stairway. There had been some water damage from the roof leaking so each rooms ceilings needed repair work with joint compound and retexturing to match. The walls were pole sanded to smooth. Nail holes, cracks and seams were filled with joint compound, sanded, cleaned, and spot primed. The molding was sanded to dull the sheen, wiped down and caulked. One coat of Sherwin Williams Promar Ceiling Paint was sprayed on. Prior to spraying each rooms furniture was centered and covered. The floors, windows, hardware and fixtures were taped and masked with painters' plastic. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Cashmere Eggshell were brushed and rolled. In between coats the walls were lightly scuffed to remove snags for the smoothest surface for the final coat. The molding received two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore Advance ultra-white semigloss. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Todd and Tina just bought a home off of Maple by Wegmans in Dewitt. After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent and accepted, and the date was set. About a month later work began. Since the house was empty setup was a breeze. Clean drop cloths were placed over the hardwoods and carpet. Painters plastic and paper were masked over the cabinets-counters-fixtures. All the walls were pole sanded to smooth. Repairs were made with joint compound to holes, dings, dents. The doors, molding was sanded with fine grit sandpaper to remove the finish and wiped down. Gaps caulked. One coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint was applied to all the ceilings. Following these two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select were crushed and rolled onto the walls. Two coats of Sherwin Williams ProClassic Enamel were sprayed onto the doors and molding for a factory finish and rehung. Thank you for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Sedgwick neighborhood. Jennifer and John just bought a fixer upper colonial in this historic neighborhood. John called months ago to line up the work to have it completed before they moved in. Most of the work was coordinated from Pennsylvania via the phone. To start half a dozen rooms wallpaper was removed. The walls were thoroughly cleaned and sanded to smooth. Repairs were made to the large cracks in their walls plaster from the house the settling. Portions of some of the walls were completely removed and replaced with sheetrock, floated and primed. The ceilings had just as many cracks, so most were screwed back up to preserve the plaster, floated and primed. All doors were removed and setup in a spray area jig, sanded, cleaned, primed and top coated with Purcells Benjamin Moore Advance ultra-white semigloss. Two coats of PPG Ceiling paint were brushed and rolled on all the ceilings. The base-door-window-crown molding was sand scuffed with fine grit, cleaned and two coat with the dame product as the doors. Two coats of the owners choice colors were brushed and rolled using Benjamin Moore Regal Select eggshell-matte. Thank you for all the work! See you this spring for the exterior.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. Jenna and Jay just bought their first home. The previous owner lived there for 30 years and had not updated in as long. After figuring out their needs the quote was sent and accepted. The start date was set for a few weeks later and work began promptly that Monday morning. To start half the rooms being painted needed the wallpaper removed. This is a process, so the next two days were spent using my tried-and-true methods for getting the walls clean and smooth. Once this was complete repairs were made to the walls and ceilings with joint compound-sanded-spot primed. Following this the ceilings were sprayed with Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint flat white. Next two coats of their chosen colors in Benjamin Moore Regal Select were brushed and rolled on the walls. The doors were removed and setup in a spray jig-area in their basement. Once setup the doors were sanded-wiped down and sprayed twice with Sherwin Williams ProClassic Enamel ultra white semigloss finish and rehung with new brushed nickel hardware.
