 Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Jamesville Dewitt New York.  Dr.Sah called us back to do some more work this time at his new home down the street from his current house that we painted last spring.  His new home is a very large colonial that he wanted painted before his family moved in.  We met initially to figure out what exactly he wanted done and the quote was emailed and accepted.  We scheduled the work as soon as we could to meet his deadline for moving in during February break. He decided to go with the same colors in the house from the previous owner.  The colors for each rooms walls were matched at Sherwin Williams from old paint cans left behind.  Work started with setting up the interior protecting the hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets, carpet and molding with drop cloths-painters plastic-paper.  Switch-outlet covers were removed as well as any old hardware in the walls.  Repairs were made with joint compound to ding-dents-scratches-holes then sand flush, cleaned and spot primed.  A few water damaged sections of the kitchen ceiling were removed, repaired with spackle, sanded and retextured to match the pattern.  The entire kitchen and family room ceiling was then painted with flat white ceiling paint.  Two coats of paint were applied to all the walls for maximum color retention.  portions of base molding were repainted to freshen them up and the job was completed.
