Interior Exterior House Painting Contractor Painter Kitchen Cabinet Painting Commercial Repaints Syracuse New York

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint for Syracuse University. The building manager for the New House classrooms-buildings needed to hire out a professional painting company to complete a bunch of projects his crews did not get too with all the other renovations this past summer. After spending three months painting the interiors of many lecture halls-hallways and common areas we wrapped up our detail for this school year. In most cases each area painted was repainted with the same paint from Sherwin Williams. Fixtures, furniture were covered with painters' plastic, drop cloths, paper. Repairs were made to the walls with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-spot primed. Following this typically one coat of the same color was applied brushed-rolled-sprayed and back rolled. Thank you for all the interior painting at the university this summer. Looking forward to getting back there next summer for all the new projects and turnovers.

Recently Donigan Painting completed a number of turnover-repaints for Park Point and U Point campus housing at Syracuse University. Donigan Painting specializes in apartment turnovers for large institutions, government buildings, senior communities and apartment complexes, Nob Hill, Parkside Commons. This summer they needed 100 + apartments completely repainted or touched up. We worked between each property as they cleared each one for us to paint. In most cases half of these suites were painted and the other half touched up. We spent about two months moving from building to building each week. As we went each apartments contents were covered with plastic and drop cloths. We painted the bedrooms-bathrooms and common areas top to bottom using high quality products from Sherwin Williams. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Jamesville's Crown Point Neighborhood. Lisa and Jon just bought a new home in this development and wanted to make it their own with new colors. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was sent and accepted and the date was set. A few weeks later work began promptly Monday morning. We started by covering all the flooring with clean drop cloths. Cabinets, counters and fixtures with taped and masked with painters' plastic-paper. Wall repairs were made with joint compound, seam caulked around doors-windows-molding. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling was applied throughout brushed and rolled. Following this two coats of SW's Super Paint in Classic Grey were applied. To wrap this one up two coats of SW Pro-Classic Enamel was brushed onto all the base molding. Thank you for all the work! Enjoy

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Manlius New York. Dave and diane just bought a new home. The previous owners had personalized it to their taste with wallpaper from the 90's and plenty of accent walls. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was sent and accepted. Work began about a month later. To start the hardwood floors and carpets were covered with drop cloths. Cabinets-counters and fixtures were taped-masked with paper and plastic. The walls, doors and all molding were cleaned, scuffed with fine grit sand paper then wiped down. Walls were repaired with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and spot primed. Gaps and seams were caulked around windows and doors. One coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint was applied throughout brushed rolled and sprayed bright white. After this setup the walls were two coated with Benjamin Moore's Regal Select IN Simply White eggshell finish. All doors were removed and setup in a spray jig in their two car garage then sprayed with Purcells Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd Ultra White satin finish. Thank you for the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Jamesvilles Southwood Neighborhood. Joan and Jon are repeat customers. This time around they wanted their master bedroom-bath and another bedroom repainted. Work began first thing Monday morning. Prepping included remving all switch-outlet covers-registers-hardware. The floors were covered with clean drop cloths, cabinets-counters-fixtures were taped-maasked with paper and painters plastic. Nail holes, dings, dents were repaired with joint compound, sanded, spot primed. The walls, doors, base-door molding were machine sanded-hand sanded to remove the finish and wiped down. One coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint was applied brushed and rolled. Following this two coats of Sherwin Williams Grasshopper and Hint of Mint in eggshell finish were brushed and rolled. Two coats of ProClassic Enamel were brushed and rolled onto the raised panel doors and molding.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint in Syracuse. Ed has a rental property on Elm Street that needed a paint job. Luckily it was aluminum siding making the prep work a cinch. When we started few weeks later the house was pressure washed and cleaned with a detergent to remove the chalky film buildup that goes with older aluminum houses. Once it dried out, we cut in each side, masked windows then sprayed two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec in Classic Grey flat finish. The windows and doors were two coated with the same product in bright white satin finish. Thanks for all the work Ed! Enjoy

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Jamesville Southwood Neighborhood. Pete and Paula just bought a new home and wanted to update the colors. After meeting to discuss their needs, a price was given on the spot followed by an emailed quote the next day. Work was scheduled about a month out and began promptly the Monday morning we started. Since they had not moved in yet setup and prep was a breeze. Drop cloths were placed over the hardwoods and carpets throughout, cabinets-fixtures-etc were taped and masked with plastic a paper, the walls -molding were sanded to remove the sheen and cleaned. Caulk was applied around the window-door-base molding as needed. Nail holes-dings-dents were repaired with joint compound then sanded and spot primed. Next one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was sprayed throughout the first and second floors. Following these two coats of Purcell's Benajmin Moore Regal Select in Simply White eggshell finish were brushed and rolled out in each room. The 25 doors were removed and setup in a jig in their basement to spray them for a factory finish. Once the painting was completed the new hardware was installed and the doors were rehung.
