 Recently Donigan painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero New York.  Brian and Lisa just bought their first home and wanted to add their personal touch with new paint colors.  Once they closed on the house the contract was signed, the deposit was sent, colors chosen and start date set.  When we arrived Monday morning we started by prepping the first floor.  This included covering all the oak floors with drop cloths, covering cabinets-counters-fixtures with painters plastic/paper.  Switch and outlet covers were removed, the walls were repaired with joint compound filling dins-dents-holes.  The walls were then pole sanded to remove imperfections then cleaned.  The crown-window-door-base0 molding were scuffed with fine grit sand paper, caulked and cleaned.  Next one coat of Sherwin-Williams Promar Ceiling Paint was applied to the ceiling throughout.  Following this the molding was sprayed bright white in semi-gloss finish Sherwin-Willliams Pro-Classic Enamel.  Once everything set up over night we applied two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint eggshell in an off-white.  All tape-plastic-paper was removed and we cleaned the site.  Enjoy your new home!

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Liverpool , New York. Lonnie and Jen just bought a patio home off of Hopkins Road and wanted to update the colors throughout.  The previous owners went with very dark colors and they wanted to lighten it up.  To start we choose colors/sheens.  Once the colors where picked I sent the quote and it was accepted.  The date was set and work began promptly that Monday morning.  To start all the floors, cabinets, counters, hardware, windows were covered with drop cloths, painters plastic, paper and tape.  Dings-dents-holes were filled with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-primed.  Walls, base-window-door molding was scuffed with fine grit sand paper and wiped down.  Cracks and nail holes were filled with caulk and wood putty and knocked down for a smooth finish.  The walls were pole sanded to remove snags-roller lint then one coat of PPG's Seal-Grip Acrylic Primer was applied.  Following this one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was applied through out-sprayed.  Once everything had a day to set up two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint in neutral colors were applied in eggshell finish.  Tape-paper-plastic were removed and we reset the rooms before cleaning up.  Thank you for all the work!  Good luck in your new home.

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero New York.  Jake and Paula moved here from Staten Island a few years ago and bought a home on Lakeshore Golf Course.  They called to have a few rooms painted, crown molding installed, and some other home repairs.  We met at there home about a month ago to discuss the scope of their project.  After figuring it all out or most of it I grabbed their email and sent them a quote a few days later.  They accepted and we started the work last Monday.  To begin their master bedroom walls and base molding were sanded-cleaned-repaired-caulked then two coated with Sherwin-Williams Super Paint and Pro Classic Trim Enamel. The master bathroom and guest bathroom ceilings -walls-molding were prepped and painted as well.  Once the paint set up crown molding was installed in each painted room-caulked-cleaned-painted.  In the kitchen they wanted wainscoting installed on the wall their kitchen table rested against.  Pine board was cut to fit, sanded, cleaned and top coated with 4 coats of Min-Wax Fast Drying Polyurethane.  Once it was glued and tacked in corner pieces and a chair rail were cut to fit.  Thank you for all the work Mr. and Mrs. Bensaull it was a pleasure doing business with such nice people.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Clay NY.  Cory and Chris just bought their first home.  The previous owners did a number with the colors covering every spectrum on the rainbow.  So to start all the walls in the house were primed with PPG's Seal Grip to block the bright and very dark colors throughout.  Cabinets-counters-hardware-floors were covered with drops, painters plastic, paper, and tape.  One coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was then applied to the ceilings on the first and second floors.  Following this the walls were patched and sanded.  Two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint in Accessible Beige eggshell where rolled on.  The window-door-base molding was scuffed with fine grit sandpaper, caulked then top coated with Benjamin Moore Regal Classic ultra White semi-gloss.

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Clay NY.  Corrina and Chris just bought their first home after years of moving around in the army.  Their split level had previous owners who explored every area of the spectrum.  Once the scope of work, price, and materials were agreed upon we set the start date.  Since they were renting it was important for the work to be done before the end of the month so they could move out of their rental.  Work began last week and was completed within a week.  All the ceilings in their 4 bedroom home needed to be painted.  So all the floors were covered with drop cloths, the cabinets-counters-hardware were taped off with plastic or paper.  One coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was then sprayed onto all the ceiling throughout.  While the ceilings dried the walls were repaired as needed with joint compound, sanded to smooth and cleaned.  Once the prep work was completed two coats of Sherwin-Willliams Super Paint Accessible Beige were applied in each room.  Following this the door-window-base molding were scuffed with fine grit sandpaper, caulked, then top coated with Benjamin Moore Regal Classic bright white semi-gloss.

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Fayetteville.  Craig and Harriet just purchased a new patio home and wanted to update the colors.  Last Spring we repainted their home with a color they loved to get it ready to put on the real estate MLS-CNYRealtor.  So at their new home we used the same color, Smokey Taupe Benjamin Moore Regal Select.  Painting the interior included  the walls in the bedrooms, kitchen, living room, foyer and basement.  To start all the furniture was centered and covered with painters plastic.  Hardware was taped off or removed as needed.  The walls were pole sanded to smooth, repairs were made with joint compound-caulk as needed.  Two coats of wall paint were applied brushed and rolled.  Once it set up we reset furniture and cleaned up.

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Sedgwick Neighborhood.  Ray and Fay are selling their family home and downsizing.  In order to get the house ready to list with a realtor they wanted to update a wallpapered bedroom. Color was chosen, the quote was emailed and a start date was set after we met. To start all the bedroom furniture was centered and covered with painters plastic.  Hardware was removed or covered and the hardwood floors were covered with drop cloths.  The wallpaper was scored, treated and removed.  Once the top layer was removed the second layer, which was very old wallpaper-heavily pasted, was hand scraped off after being treated with our removal solution.  Once all the paper was removed the walls were thoroughly cleaned to remove the paste.  the walls were repaired with joint compound, gaps were caulked around the molding, the walls were pole sanded to smooth.  Next two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select flat were applied to the plaster walls.  In between coats the ceiling was hit with one coat of Sherwin-Williams Ceiling Paint.  Following this the window-door-base molding were scuffed with fine grit sandpaper to remove the finish, wiped down, then two coated with Benjamin Moore's Regal Classic bright white semi-gloss.
