Last week Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in one of  Sedgwick's gems.  Lauren and John recently bought a new home that needed some updating.  The 90's wallpaper and decor was on it's way out like many of these older homes in the area.  Wallpaper was removed from the living room, dining room, kitchen, stairway-hall.  After the wall paper was removed the plaster walls were in rough shape and in need of extensive repair with portions of lathe being removed in two rooms from water damage.  These two damaged areas had new sheetrock installed and the base molding replaced to match the original oak.  Once the prep work was finished we primed all the walls with a high quality PPG acrylic primer.  The ceilings throughout where one coated with Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint.  Two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Revere Pewter in an eggshell finish were applied for a uniform look.  To pull it all together the doors and molding were two coated with Impervo in satin white finish after being sanded, caulked and cleaned.
