Interior Exterior House Painting Contractor Painter Kitchen Cabinet Painting Syracuse New York

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. Ed and Ellen just bought a condo-townhouse. The dated wallpaper and colors had to go. After meeting to discuss their needs I gave them a quote on the spot that they accepted so we set the date. Work began promptly a few weeks later starting by protecting all floors-cabients-counters-fixtures with painters plastic and clean drop cloths. Walls were repaired with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and spot primed. Gaps and seams were caulked. Wallapaper in the bathrooms was stripped and the walls were thoroughly cleaned and sanded to remove the paste. Two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select Simply White eggshell was applied to all walls. The ceilings were sprayed with PPG's Ceiling Paint. The raised panel doors were removed, hardware was removed, machine sanded-cleaned then sprayed for a factory finish with Purcell's Advance Alkyd ultra white satin finish. to wrap this one up two coats of Advance was applied to all the molding to match the doors. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Josh is moving here from Florida and hired us to repaint all the rooms in his new home by Drumlins Golf Club. Vincent Ezzo of Howard Hanna refers Donigan Painting regularly for all types of jobs large and small. In this case , like many before, this client was out of state so we coordinated the effort from our laptops and phones without a glitch. To start all his harwood floors and carpet were covered with drop cloths. The kithen cabinets, counters, fixtures and hardware were taped and masked with paper and painters plastic. The oak molding throughout was protected. Prep work included floating the main bathrooms ceiling to sooth from water damage and other small wall and ceiling repairs. the walls were pole sanded to smooth and water stains on the ceiling were spot primed and coverd with one coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint rolled. Once the ceilings setup two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select were applied to each rooms walls brushed and rolled. Thank you for all the work and welcome to Syracuse Josh!

Recently Donigan completed an interior repaint in Jamesville's Southwood Neighborhood. Jon and Joan are longtime customers. This time around they wanted their oak kitchen cabinets painted an off white. After cojnting the cabinets and explaining the process it takes to achieve optimal results they signed off on the work. We began promptly about a onth later Monday morning. First we setup a spray area in their unfinished basement that contained the dust and fumes created from the sandiing and spraying. Once the plastic was setup the kitchen cabinet doors were removed and placced on a spray jig. Each side of the doors were machine sanded with fine grit sandpaper to remove the gloss finish. The same was done to the kitchen cabinet doors. Once sanding was completed they were vacuumed and wiped down. One coat of Purcells PPG Seal Grip Primer was then sprayed on each side of the doors and brushed-rolled onto the cabinets. After allowing the primer to cure for 24 hours the cabinets were sanded again-cleaned. Two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd were sprayed onto each side of the kitchen cabinet doors and cabinets. After allowing for setup time a second coat was sprayed on giving the cabinets a factory finish like what you find at Home Depot or Lowes Kitchen depts. New pulls were drilled and installed as well as new hinges.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse, NY. Dave and Diane just bought their first home in Eastwood on Shotwell Park and anted to update the colors. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was emailed and accepted. The date was set for about a month later. Monday arrived quickly and we started in on the empty house to cover the floors with clean drop cloths, the kitchen cabinets-counters-fixtures with painters' plastic. Prep work included repairing the walls dings-dents with joint compound, caulk gaps around the molding, sanding walls-doors-molding and cleaning. Once complete one coat of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint was sprayed onto the ceilings throughout. Following these two coats of Benjammin Moore Regal Select in Simply White were applied brushed and rolled. A spray area was setup in their large basement floor spraying their 16 doors. Their doors were setup in a jig, sanded-cleaned then sprayed with two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro-Classis Enamel bright white satin finish. The doors new hardware was installed and rehung. Recently Donigan Painting competed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Meadowbrook Neighborhood. Tom and Paula just bought a home and wanted to update the wall colors to their taste. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was emailed and accepted. Work was scheduled for the same month and began promptly the Monday morning we began. To start all the floors, fixtures, cabinets-counters were covered with painters plastic and clean drop cloths. Wall repairs were made with joint compound, sanded and spot primed. Seams and gaps around the molding was caulked. All walls were sanded with fine grit to remove any snags-dirt-etc. The 20 raised panel doors were removed and setup in a jig in their two-car garage. The doors, window-door-base molding were sanded with 220 grit to remove the shine-sheen then thoroughly cleaned with a vacuum and wiped down. Once prep work was completed two coats of Purcell's Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint were brushed and rolled followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Classic Grey on all the walls. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Por Classic Enamel Ultra White semigloss were sprayed onto the doors and molding for a factory finish. Thank you for the work and enjoy your new home.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repainting Camillus New York. The West Genesee School District called for a quote to repaint a few auditoriums and gymnasium's before the school year began. A few weeks ago we started by painting Walberta Elementarys gym. Following that we repainted the high schools auditorium. IN both repaints the floors-fixtures were covers with drop cloths- painters plastic-paper-tape, repairs were made to the walls with joint copound- sanded-cleaned-spot primed. Following the prep work two coats of Purcell's Regal Select were applied brushed-rolled-sprayed. We cleaned as we went and had each repaint wrapped up expeditiously. Thank you for all the work. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint for Syracuse University. The building manager for the New House classrooms-buildings needed to hire out a professional painting company to complete a bunch of projects his crews did not get too with all the other renovations this past summer. After spending three months painting the interiors of many lecture halls-hallways and common areas we wrapped up our detail for this school year. In most cases each area painted was repainted with the same paint from Sherwin Williams. Fixtures, furniture were covered with painters' plastic, drop cloths, paper. Repairs were made to the walls with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-spot primed. Following this typically one coat of the same color was applied brushed-rolled-sprayed and back rolled.
