Interior Exterior House Painting Contractor Painter Syracuse NY

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint on Syracuse's Northside Neighborhood. Billy called to get a quote to paint his kitchen, entry hall, and two bathrooms. To start we repaired wall damage with joint compound that included dings-dents-cracks. Cabinets-counters-fixtures were covered with painters plastic, floors with drop cloth's. The walls were pole sanded to smooth, the molding was scuffed-cleaned-caulked. One coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was applied. Following this two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Interior in an off-white- eggshell finish were applied. Once the walls set up the molding was taped out and two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Enamel Satin bright white were applied. Furniture and fixtures were reset and we cleaned up.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint on Syracuse's Northside. Bill decided to update his master bathrooms color and vanity. To start the old vanity was removed along with the original iron plumbing. The old metal was cut out and new copper piping was installed along with new valves. The ceiling and walls ding-dents were filled with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-primed. A portion of the ceiling was scraped down and floated out to match the rest of the ceiling. One coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was then applied. Following this two coats of Benjamin Moore's Regal Select Interior Eggshell in White Sand was applied. Once the paint set up the oak base molding was cut to fit the new vanity and top snug against the wall. The vanity counter's new brushed nickel faucet and drain were installed then the top was secured to the vanity. Once the top was set correctly the drain-trap was installed and tested for leaks of which there was none. Here is how it turned out!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse Universities Westcott Neighborhood. Julie just bought a new house near Barry Park and wanted to update the colors to her taste. The previous owner had not painted in years so the whole house needed a coat of paint from top to bottom. After sending the quote we set the date , signed the contract, finalized colors, and set up access. Julie choose and off white in an eggshell finish by Benjamin Moore Regal Select. To start cracks in the walls from the house settling were repaired, dings-dents and holes where filled, cleaned, and primed. The oak floors and carpeting were covered with drop cloths, counters-cabinets were taped and draped with plastic as well as hardware such as lights, etc. One coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint-flat-white- was then applied to all the ceilings on the first and second floors. Following this all the walls were pole sanded to remove in consistences. Two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select were then applied to the walls. After the paint set up two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Enamel in bright white satin finish were then applied. Prior to painting the base-window-door molding surfaces were scuffed with fine grit sandpaper to remove the finish so the new paint would stick. This is a crucial step in prep work that ensures the paint will stick and not scratch off if you look at it wrong.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero NY. Dean called for a quote to repaint his patio home. After living with the contractor grade flat off white for ten years they were ready for a change. They chose a Revere Pewter in an eggshell finish for the walls by Benjamin Moore -Regal Select. Prep work included pole sanding the walls to smooth, repairing wall dings-dents, caulking gaps between the molding and walls-ceilings for the crown. All furniture was centered and covered with painters plastic. Their floors were covered with drop cloths, hardware was taped/masked, the molding was scuffed-cleaned, nail holes were filled with wood putty-sanded-cleaned-primed, and of course everything was cleaned to remove dust. The figured why not pain the ceilings with a fresh coat while you are here so we did. One coat of Pittsburgh ceiling Paint was applied through out. Once the wall paint had set up for a couple days the molding was taped out with Frog Tape for dead on straight-perfect lines from wall to molding. Two coats of Benjamin Moore Advanced White satin were applied.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus NY. Sandy wanted to update her bathrooom-hallway paint with a fresh coat to brighten them up. After we met to discuss what needed to be done we set the start date, signed off on the work, finalized colors and got to it! To start the fixtures were covered with painters plastic, the tile floor was covered with drop cloths. Inconsistencies on the ceiling-walls were floated out with joint compound, sanded, cleaned, primed. The walls were sanded to knock down any rough spots, the molding was scuffed-caulked as wells as their hallway-bedroom doors. Two coats of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint were applied. Following this two coats of Sherwin-Williams Promar 200 Osage Orange were applied. Two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Enamel Bright White semi-gloss were applied to the doors and door-window-base molding.

Recently Donigan Painting completed and interior in Liverpool NY. Missy just bought a raised ranch and the colors where not here taste. She was not sure what color to choose so I suggested a light grey. In the last few years it has been a popular choice among homeowners painting more than room or going for an overall style. Light grays are easy to decorate with and still keep a room with low light bright. So we set the start date and on the first day it was all prep work. Switch-outlet covers were removed as well as hardware, cabinets-counters-floors-fixtures were covered with drop cloths and painters plastic. Dings-dents-holes were repaired with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-primed. The base-window-door molding was sanded to remove the finish-cleaned-caulked. One coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling paint was applied bringing new life to her ceilings. The walls had two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Revere Grey eggshell finish applied. To pull it all together and wrap this one up two coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Enamel Bright White semi-gloss were applied. Paper and plastic were removed. Hardware was replaced and we cleaned up.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Skaneateles NY. Jim and Maria wanted to make their home look perfect after a remodeling job's painter did more damage than good. The painter was unfortunately heavy handed and put the paint on in globs with runs and sagging everywhere. So to start a few days was spent repairing the paint mishaps. Most of the sections that were repaired were able to be scraped off or sanded down to smooth. The worse of the sections were floated with joint compound, sanded, and primed. The finisher on their remodel left many pin holes that needed to be filled high to low also. A a bunch of ceilings nail pops and mismatched texturing were knocked down, floated with joint compound then retextured. Once the prep work was completed two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in an off white eggshell were applied to the walls. Rooms with ceiling repairs had their ceilings two coated with Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint.
