Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. Ian and Lisa just bought their first home and wanted to update the colors. Their contemporary house had a range of colors that did not flow. After meeting with them to discuss their needs, finalizing colors, setting the start date, signing the contract, and receiving the deposit we were ready to start a few weeks later. Since they had not moved in yet setup was a breeze. Clean drop cloths were placed over all the hardwood floors and carpeting upstairs. Kitchen cabinets-counters-hardware-windows were taped and masked with paper-plastic. Switch -cover-register plates were removed and stored. 16 doors were removed from their jams and setup in their large two car garage in a spray jig. Preparation included repairs to the walls and ceilings with joint compound, sanding all surfaces for maximum adhesion and then clean them. A few areas of the ceilings had water stains that were primed with oil to seal them. Borders were removed from some of the walls and then thoroughly scraped and washed to remove the backer and paste. Next two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint were sprayed on. Following these two coats of their choice colors were applied to each rooms walls brushed and rolled. In between coats the raised panel doors were lightly sanded-cleaned-then top coated with a fine tip sprayer for a factory finish in bright white. New hardware was installed, and the doors were rehung. Cleanup was a snap. Thaks for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse Universities Westcott Neighborhood. Dan and Jane just bought a large Victorian home with lots of wallpaper. They wanted all the wallpaper removed and the entire interior repainted to their taste. We started with removing the 15 rooms wallpaper with DIF-steaming and a few other tried and true practices. Once the paper was removed most of the walls needed to be floated with a skim coat of joint compound to level them out. Next the walls were sanded to smooth and cleaned before one coat of PPG Seal Grip Primer was applied to seal the new mud. Once all the caulking and cleaning was done we applied two coats of ceiling paint followed by two coats of paint on the walls using Purcells Ultra Spec line. To wrap this house up we applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance urethane for a highly durable-lasting finish.

Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint of a large office suite recently. Sarah, the office manager, called us for a quote about a month ago. The company she works for just leased a new office space in Widewaters and needed to soften up the dark colors currently on the walls. Work started promptly with setting up and protecting surfaces with clean drop cloths, plastic-paper-tape as needed. Repairs were made to walls with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and spot primed. We removed the vinyl cove for the floor installers coming in after us. Following prep work two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Pint in Classic Grey were applied. After the paint setup we installed new vinyl cove , cleaned up.

Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. David called for a quote to paint the interior of his rental property. After meeting with him to discuss his needs, we formulated a plan and set the date. Shortly thereafter work was started. We began by covering all the floors, cabinets, counters-hardware. Prep work included making repairs to the walls with joint compound, sanding surfaces, cleaning, caulking, and priming as needed. Since the previous tenants used very dark colors on the walls we primed most of them to neutralize the colors. Two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Pint was applied followed with two coats of Purcells Ultra Spec Simply White on the walls. The doors, base-window-door molding were two coated with Sherwin Williams ProClassic Urethane. Thank you for the work.

Donigan Painting Company recently completed an interior repaint at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. Dave, a manager, called our company back to paint another of their restaurants. Previously we painted the hamburger joint they have. This time around we were doing Middle Ages Brewery Bar. They wanted to change the colors to Syracuse University themed colors of orange and blue and also their pale ale can. We started late at night to complete the project with no flights leaving or bar patrons. We started at 10 pm and worked till about 6 am. First we setup by covering the bar area, benches, counters, etc. Next prep work included wall repairs with fast set joint compound, caulking and sanding surfaces for maximum adhesion. Two coats of SU's colors were applied to the walls. While we the paint setup at the bar we moved next door to the shop to also repaint their store area. Thank you for the work Dave.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint at Syracuse's Polish Home. Big John called us again for another repaint at their club. They had renovated the bowling alley area into a large game room and wanted to freshen up the walls and columns. Once the new Epoxy floor had setup work began promptly about two weeks later. We started by setting up clean drop cloths-taping-masking as needed. Repairs were made to the walls with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-spot primed. The columns-walls-molding were lightly sanded to improve adhesion then cleaned. Next two coats of a light grey eggshell paint were applied. The bowling alley knee wall was sprayed matte black twice. Each of the 12 columns were cleaned-sanded-primed then top coated 5 times with the polish flag colors. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Baldwinsville New York. Joe and Josie just bought a house and wanted to change all the colors throughout 5,000 square feet. The lime green theme throughout was played out. After spending an hour walking thru and discussing their needs we put together a game plan. I setup a meeting with Purcell's Paints interior design staff to help them coordinate their colors choices. Fast forward a month later and work began promptly Monday morning early. Since they had not moved in setup went quick. Floors-cabinets-counters-hardware were masked and taped for protection and covered with clean drop cloths. Next all the doors ,30, were removed and setup in their basement in a make shift spray area that was contained with painters plastic. Repairs were made to the walls with joint compound , sanded, cleaned and spot primed. Spot priming is necessary so the new joint compound does not flash when painted. Seams were caulked around all the door-floor-window-crown molding and knocked down with a clean wet rag. The doors were setup up in a jig-sanded to remove the finish-then cleaned-wiped down. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was sprayed onto the ceiling. Following this two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select were applied to the walls brushed and rolled. The doors were sprayed twice with a fine tip and urethane enamel called Advance by Benjamin Moore. New hardware was installed and the doors were rehung and the house was reset and cleaned.
