Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Liverpool New York. Sandy and Mike wanted to update their colors on their first floor which included the kitchen, living room, dining room, foyer and half bath. After meeting with them to discuss their needs, the quote was emailed and accepted. Work was scheduled to begin shortly after and began promptly that Monday morning. We started by centering the furniture in each room and covering it with painters plastic. Wall paper was removed from the dining room and half bath. Repairs were made to the walls dings-dents-scratches with joint compound. After prep work was completed two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling paint was applied with a brush-roller. Following these two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Simply White eggshell was applied. The molding was scuff sanded-caulked-cleaned then top coated with Benjamin Moore's Advance Alkyd satin. Rooms were reset and we cleaned up.

Recently Donigan Painting completed a repaint in Syracuse, New York. Paul and Maryanne called for a quote to repaint their 2nd floor bedrooms-hallway-bathroom. After meeting to discuss their needs a quote was given on the spot then emailed following the appointment. Work was scheduled to start a few weeks later. To start we centered each bedrooms furniture and covered it with painters plastic. Floors were covered with clean drop cloths, hardware removed and stored. Repairs were made to the walls dings-dents-scratches with joint compound then sanded-cleaned-primed. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied. Following this two coats of Purcells Benajmin Moore Regal Select in Simply white eggshell were brushed and rolled. The window-base-door molding and doors were machine sanded with fine grit paper-cleaned-caulked then sop coated with Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an office interior in Syracuse's Galleries Building. Jon just leased a new office space and wanted to put his touch on the walls for his business. After meeting to discuss his needs the quote was sent, contract signed and date set to begin the work. About a week later work started promptly. since the office was occuoied we worked at night for a few evenings to complete the work with n=minimal disruption to his operation. We started each evening by entering the fusniture in each office area and covering it with painters plastic. Floors were covered with clean drop cloths and any thing else not being painted was coverd with painters plastic-paper. Prep work included makin small repairs to dings-dents-scratches in the walls with joint compound, sanding walls to smooth. Next two coats Sherwin Williams SuperPaint were brushed and rolled onto the walls. Once painting was completed the office was reset and cleaned. Thank you for your business!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse, NY. Michelle and Mike just decided to repaint the interior of their colonial while they spend the winter in Florida. Mike called for a quote a couple months ago and we setup the job to begin at the beginning of December. Since the house was being lived in setup took about a day with centering furniture and removing hardware-curtains-etc. Once each room out of there 15 was setup with painters plastic covering the furniture, clean drop cloths covering all the floors, cabinets-counters masked with paper-plastic prep work began. Two rooms needed multiple layers of wallpaper removed. Each rooms walls were soaked with a paper remover called DIF, then stripped and cleaned to the previously painted lathe-plaster. Repairs were made to the walls using joint compound, they were pole sanded, primed as needed. The base-window-door-crown molding were cleaned, scuffed with fine grit sandpaper to remove the finish then caulked. Two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint were applied brushed and rolled. Following these two coats of their choice colors for each room were applied. Finally, two coats of Sherwin Williams ProClassic Alkyd Ultra white semigloss were applied to all the molding brushed and rolled. Each room was reset and we cleaned up. the whole job took the month of December. Thank you so much for the work! It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior kitchen cabinet repaint in Camillus, New York. Ava just decided to paint her dated oak kitchen cabinets instead of spending a small fortune replacing them. After meeting to discuss her needs a quote was given on the spot and accepted. Work was scheduled to begin a couple weeks later. To begin each cabinets doors and drawers are carefully removed and setup in a spray booth in the basement. Once in the work area the door-drawers hardware is carefully removed and stored. Each cabinets contents are sealed inside to save on having to remove all of them with painter's plastic. Next each door-drawer-cabinet face/rail is hand-machine sanded with fine grit paper and thoroughly cleaned with a vacuum then wiped down to remove all fine dust particles. After thorough sanding-cleaning one coat of Purcell's Seal Grip Primer is sprayed-brushed-rolled onto surfaces. Once the primer has setup for 24 hours the finish coats can be applied. Two coats of Purcells Advance Alkyd were then fine tip airless sprayed on each side of the door-drawers. The cabinets face-rail were brushed and rolled with the same product. After the cabinets are allowed to dry for a few days new hardware is installed and the doors-drawers are rehung. Enjoy!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Solvay New York. Brian and Lisa just bought a fixer upper with alot of character. Their 1920's colonial had fell into disrepair after years of being unoccupied. After meeting with them to discuss their needs the quote was sent and accpeted. Work was scheduled to start about a month later when the weather got colder. Since they had not moved in yet setup was a breeze. Clean drop cloths were placed over all the hardwood floors, cabinets-counters-hardware were masked. About half of the hoes rooms were wall papered and needed to be removed. Each rooms wallpaper was throughly soaked with DIF then carefully removed to not further damage the walls. All of the paste was scrubbed of the walls with very hot water. Once the paper was all removed repairs were made to the walls with joint compound, it was sanded, then cleaned, then primed with Purcells Seal-Grip Primer. The base-window-door molding was machine sanded to remove the glossy finish then cleaned to remove dust. Gaps and seam were caulked as needed with 50 year siliconized-acrylic caulk. Nail holes were filled with painters putty-sanded-cleaned. One coat of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint was sprayed onto each rooms ceilings. Following this all the molding was sprayed with a fine tip sprayer so there would be no brush marks. Once the molding had setup for a few days it was taped-masked with painters paper to protect it from paint for the walls. Next two coats of their colors were brushed-rolled onto the walls to wrap this one up.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint in Manlius, New York. Mike just bought a house he's flipping and needed a rush paint job on before the snow flies. After meeting to discuss his needs a quote was given on the spot and accepted. Work was scheduled to begin immediately while temperatures were still above freezing. Luckily prep work was minimal and the aluminum siding just needing alight cleaning. Since he chose a color close to the existing one spraying it over went quite fast. After masking the windows-doors-hardware one coat of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint flat was sprayed onto the aluminum. Masking was removed and discarded, and we cleaned up the site.
