Interior Exterior House Painting Contractor Painter Kitchen Cabinets Resurfacing Syracuse New York

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint at Midstate Springs new warehouse on 7 North in Syracuse. I read an article on Syracuse.com that this company just bought a new building and called my old friend Tom who works there to see if they needed a quote. Turns out they did, and I was the second painting contractor thru the door. After meeting with Tom and seeing the scope of work a quote was typed up and emailed. The quote was accepted, and work was scheduled to begin last week. They wanted this done asap so we went to work. The drywall company just finished installing 20,000 square feet of new board. So to start all the walls were thoroughly brushed with a soft bristle broom and vacuumed to remove most of the dust. Once the cleaning was done painters paper was put down to protect the floors and priming began. Two coats of primer were applied to cut down on multiple top coats in some areas. The main machine room was given the most attention. Once priming was completed two coats of Sherwin Williams Tuff Scuff Enamel was applied to the interior walls. Thank you for all the work!

Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint in Syracuse's Strathmore Neighborhood this week. Nick and Kristin are getting ready to list their house on Alanson Road. The exterior was in pretty rough shape and needed a good scrape-prime-top coat to get ready to list on the mls. After smacking some sense into my old friend nick I kicked him in the dick and work began a week later to beat the cold weather. The southside of the house needed a lot of scraping so we started there. Plastic was laid out to catch all the paint chips and make clean up a cinch. We went right around the house with this setup and knocked the motherfucker out of the park prime time. After prep one coat of Sherwin Williams Super Paint matched in flat sheen was brushed-rolled-sprayed. The trim-molding was thoroughly scraped then primed and top coated. Good luck selling you probable won't need it considering there's no inventory and buyers are eating up anything that comes on the market. Be sure to go fuck yourself and have a happy halloween. Snoochees dickhead!

After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent and accepted. Work was scheduled for a few weeks later and began promptly that Monday morning. To start each rooms furniture was centered and covered. Fixtures and hardware were removed or masked. Clean drop cloths were placed over the floors. Prep work included repairing wall damage as needed, sanding walls-molding to smooth. Next one coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied. Recently Donigan Painting completed resurfacing kitchen cabinets in Dewitt New York. Joy has wanted to replace her oak kitchen cabinets for years and then thought off painting them. She called a few contractors and of us all said that my presentation and knowledge of the subject impressed her so much that she chose me. After the quote was sent and accepted work began a few weeks later monday morning. To start all 30 cabinet doors were removed from the cabinets. Next the hardware was completely removed and stored. A cleaning solution was used to clean dirt and grime then through sanding with fine grit sandpaper was applied to each door front /back and the outside portion of the cabinets including the inner rail. Each door and cabinet was then vacuumed and wiped down to remove any fine dust. Two coats of Purcells PPG Seal Grip Primer was sprayed on each side for a flawless foundation. In between coats we sanded lightly to remove any snags and provide excellent adhesion for the next application. Once the primer had set up for a couple days the first coat of Purcells Benjamin Moore Advance bright white semigloss was sprayed with a fine tip both sides. After curing for 48 hours the second coat was applied and allowed to dry for another two days. New hardware was installed and the doors were rehung perfectly. Recently Donigan Painting completed a interior repaint in Syracuse New York. Babe and Jon wanted to update their entire first floor. After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent and accepted. The start was set for a few weeks later and work began promptly that MOnday morning. To start all the furniture in each room was centered and covered with painters plastic.. The floors were covered with clean drop cloths, hardware-fixtures were masked off with painters paper and plastic. Repairs were made to the dings-dents-scratches on the walls with joint compound followed by sanding and a quick spot prime so the spots dont flash. Each rooms walls were pole sanded to smooth, molding was scuffed and caulked as needed. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied next followed by two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore Regal Select Simply White eggshell. The molding was two coated with Benjamin Moores Advance Alkyd and we reset the rooms. Thank you for all the work and enjoy your new look!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse New York. Jen called for a quote to paint her foyer-stairway and upstairs hallway. After meeting to discuss her needs the quote was formalized in an email and accepted shortly after. The date was set, and work began promptly about a month later. To start all the furniture was moved from these areas. the floors were covered with clean drop cloths and adjacent areas were masked off as needed to protect them. Repairs were made to the walls using joint compound then each areas walls-molding-doors were sanded to smooth for a glass like finish when top coated. Two coats of paint were applied to the ceiling since they had not been painted in decades followed by two coats of her choices of colors to the walls using Sherwin Williams Super Paint eggshell. The molding and doors were scuff sanded-wiped down then top coated with two applications of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Enamel semigloss. Thank you for all the work Jen, enjoy.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Maria and Dave just bought a their first home by Drumlins Gold Course. They called us to get a quote for painting the entire interior before they moved in. After meeting to discuss their needs a quote was emailed and accepted. The start date was sent and the deposit was mailed. Work began promptly about a month later Monday morning. They planned to move in after the work was completed so set up went fast. Clean drop cloths were placed over all the hardwoods throughout the house. Fixtures, hardware, cabinets, counters and windows were taped and masked with painters plastic and paper. Switch covers-outlet covers and registers were removed and stored. Repairs were made to the walls using joint compound. Multiple coats were applied as needed to the plaster walls to get them true again. Many rooms had wallpaper that needed to be removed. After a few days the walls were clear of paper and paste. They were then thoroughly cleaned with hot water then sanded with fine grit sandpaper to remove and texture-snags. All the doors were removed and setup in a spray jig in their large basement. Each door was machine and hand sanded to remove the shiny finish and dull it for excellent adhesion. After this they were vacuumed and wiped don with clean cloths to remove dust and sediment. Once prep work was completed one coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied with a sprayer-brush-roller for a beautiful uniform bright white coat. Following this each of the 12 rooms were painted with their color choices in Purcell's Regal Select eggshell. The doors and molding were also sprayed with Benjamin Moore Advance alkyd for a rock-solid finish made to last for decades. Clean-up was a cinch, and all plates-hardware was replaced. Once the doors had setup for a week new hardware was installed and the doors were rehung. Thank you for all the work and enjoy your new home!
