Donigan Painting recently completed an exterior repaint in Camillus New York. Sebastian and Anna just bought a new home and needed to update the outside with their colors. We met to walk around and discuss the scope of work then a price was determined on the spot and the quote was email and accepted shortly after. The contract was signed and date set for about a month later when it had warmed up above freezing overnights so the paint didn't freeze. We started by putting down heavy mil painters plastic at the base of the foundation to catch all the paint chips being scraped off. this makes for an easy cleanup and contains any harmful substances from hitting the ground. Once scraping was completed the bare wood was spot primed with oil primer. Gaps and seams were caulked, loose boards nailed down, and surfacing sanding was done to scuff the surfaces being painted. Once prep work was completed two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration were applied brushed-rolled-sprayed to the clapboards, soffit, fascia, molding. Thank you for the work! Enjoy!

Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Lisa just moved here and bought a new home. She wanted to update the first-floor interior with new colors. She had each rooms colors picked out before meeting. After walking thru and looing over the scope of the work a price was quoted and accepted on the spot. The quote was emailed same day and signed off on by the customer. Work began about two weeks later. We started by centering the furniture in her living room, dining room and porch then covering it with painters plastic. The hardwood floors were covered with clean drop cloths. Hardware was removed from the windows and walls and stored. Nail holes and scratches were floated with joint compound, sanded, and cleaned. The walls, base -window-door molding was scuffed with a random orbital sander to remove the finish, cleaned and caulked. One coat of Sherwin Williams Pro Mar Ceiling Pint was applied followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select eggshell in her colors choices. The molding was two coated with Sherwin Williams ProClassic Alkyd for a tough durable finish. Enjoy and Thank you!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in the Dewitt shire on Cornwall Ave. Amy just moved here and bought a new home that was in need of new paint. After meeting with Amy the date was set and work began a couple weeks later. To start the furniture in each room was centered and covered with painters plastic. The floors were covered with clean drop cloths. Areas not being painted were taped and masked to protect them. Prep work included repairing the walls-ceilings with joint compound, sanding the walls to smooth, scuffing the molding, cleaning, caulking gaps-seams, priming the brick fireplace. Next two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint were applied followed by two coats of their Super Super Paint on the walls. Two coats of SW's ProClassic Alkyd Ultra White were applied to base-door-window molding.

Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's University Neighborhood. Mike anc Courtney were getting their house ready to sell. My realtor Vincent Ezzo of Howard Hanna called me into to get their place tip top before listing it. The livingroom, hallway, basement, porch needed a bit of freshening up. Repairs were made to the walls, gaps caulked, walls sanded to smooth. The livingrooms walls were touched up and the base molding was painted. Their hallways ceiling, walls, doors, molding were all painted twice. The basement floor was cleaned and two coated with a floor enamel. The rear porch was painted top to bottom. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero NY. Katie and Jon just bought a home and before moving in they wanted to repaint the whole interior top to bottom. After we met the quote was given on the spot and emailed then accepted. After the contract was signed, colors chosen work began about a month later. We began by covering all the floors with clean drop cloths, removing old hardware, repairing walls, taping and masking cabinets-counters-fixture's. Once setup and prep work was completed two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling paint was sprayed-brushed and rolled. While this was being done all the doors, 20, were removed as well as the hardware and setup in a spray area in the garage. The walls-molding-doors were machine and hand sanded to remove the sheen and provide the best adhesion for new paint. Two coats of Purcells Regal Select were applied brushed and rolled. Following these two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Alkyd were sprayed onto the doors and molding for a factory finish. Thank you for the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Fayetteville New York. Steve and Lorrie just bought a new home in the village, and it needed major updating. Their new home was at least 100 years old and was showing alot of that age. We discussed their needs and the quote was accepted. Work started a few weeks later promptly Monday morning. The house was still vacant while work was being done so setup went fast. Clean drop cloths were placed over the floors, cabinets-counters were masked. Prep work included cleaning the dust, vacuuming, off of the molding-walls-ceilings. Repairs were made to the walls and ceilings as needed with joint compound. Seams-gaps along the molding were caulked and knocked down. Two coats of ceiling paint were sprayed-brushed-rolled. These older homes suck up the paint when they have not been painted in years. Many of their rooms had very old wallpaper that needed to be removed with tried and true practices of hot water soaking and a commercial grade steamer. Once the layers were removed the walls were thoroughly cleaned to remove the paste then sanded to smooth and further repaired with joint compound as needed. One coat of Purcells PPG Seal-Grip Primer was applied to all walls before two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select was applied to all the walls in each room. The molding was sanded to scuff the surface then top coated with two applications of Sherwin Williams ProClassic Alkyd. Thank you for all the work!

After quoting the work on the spot we set the date, signed the contract and work began a couple weeks later. We started with setup which included: centering and covering each rooms furniture, covering the floors with clean drop cloths. Prep work included cleaning-vacuuming the ceiling-walls-molding of dust-dirt-cobwebs, repairing holes-cracks with joint compound, caulking gaps, sanding walls-molding. Once the prep was completed one coat of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint was applied, followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select eggshell in Simply White on the walls, then two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Alkyd on the molding.
