Interior Exterior House Painting Contractor Painter Kitchen Cabinet Refacing Resurfacing Repainting Syracuse New York

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint on Onondaga Hill. Syed just bought a new home on Colburn Lane and wanted to paint all the interior walls and his oak kitchen cabinets. After meeting to discuss his family's needs a price was given on the spot and the quote was emailed the next day. A few weeks later work began first thing Monday morning. since the house was empty it made setup quick. First a contained spray area was setup in their two-car garage that included masking off all the walls and covering the floor with drop cloths. The kitchen cabinet's doors were removed and placed on a work horse jig in order to work on them horizontally. First each side of the kitchen cabinet doors were sanded with 220 grit sandpaper then vacuumed and wiped down. Following this prep work one coat of Purcell's PPG Seal Grip Primer was sprayed on both sides. Caulk was applied to the small seams along the front side of the doors for a seamless finish. Inside each rooms walls were cut in with Purcell's Regal Select in Chantilly Lace Eggshell finish then two coated with rollers. The cabinets rails and fascia were also primed with the same product. The cabinet doors were then two coated with an airless sprayer using Purcell's Benajmin Moore Advance Alkyd also in Chantilly Lace satin finish. After a couple days the hardware was replaced, and the doors and drawers were replaced. Thank you for the work! Enjoy

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Chris just bought a house off of Maple Drive that was very dated with old wallpaper and older kitchen cabinets. He wanted to remove all the wallpaper and reface the kitchen cabinets. After discussing his needs, I gave him the price on the spot, my availability. The quote was emailed the next day and accepted. Work started a few weeks later. To start all the floors were covered with drop cloths, hardware and anything not being painted was taped and masked or covered with painters plastic. Ten of the fifteen rooms had wallpaper from the 70's. Once the paper and paste were removed the walls were sanded then floated with joint compound as needed, sanded then primed. Prep work included sanding the walls-doors-molding-kitchen cabinets. A spray area was set up in his garage for the kitchen cabinets. Once prep work was completed two coats of Benjamin Moore Simply White eggshell finish was applied to all the walls. Prior to painting the walls two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint were rolled and brushed on. The kitchen cabinets, after being thoroughly prepped, had two coats of Purcell's PPG Seal Grip Primer sprayed on. Once the primer setup the cabinets were sanded again-cleaned then two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd bright white sating finish were applied. Recently Donigan painting completed an interior repaint in Jamesville's Southwood Neighborhood. Jean and Jon hired us about a year ago to repaint some rooms at their home and called in a quote we did at the time a few weeks ago for a bunch more rooms. Work started promptly Monday morning. we began by centering furniture, removing hardware, sanding the walls-doors-molding to remove the finish. Next wall repairs were made with joint compound to fix holes-dings-dents. Next one coat of Purcell's ceiling paint was applied to each room. They decided to use the same color for the walls throughout xo two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Classic grey eggshell finish were brushed and rolled. To wrap this one up the doors were sprayed using Purcell's Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd bright white semigloss. Enjoy!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint for Syracuse Universities Park Point and U Point Student Apartments. The property manager called me a few weeks ago under the gun to have work completed before the kids come back from summer break. They needed their main floor bathrooms, offices and the pergola stained asap. About two weeks later after we met work began promptly. We started by painting the offices, bathrooms and fitness room first. Navy Blue and a light grey were used in each area with two coats being applied to each. Next the very large patio pergola was stained from top to bottom with Sherwin Williams Semi transparent Charwood. The car port ceilings were sprayed to freshen them up with Sherwin Williams paint two coats.

Recently Donigan Painting completed, and exterior repaint in Camillus New York. Steve and Jo wanted to update their colonial's exterior with some fresh paint. After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent and accepted. We set the date, the contract was signed, colors finalized, and work began about a month later. Prior to starting the house and deck where pressure washed to remove old paint and dirt. We started by spraying out the soffit-gutters-down spouts bright white to refresh them. Next three coat of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select Exterior High Build Bold Blue was sprayed-brushed-rolled. since they chose navy blue over a light beige it took three coats in order for the true color to show and last. Once the body of the house was done the brick front and chimney where white washed to soften them up. Lastly the deck was two coated with a light grey on the treads and black for a rail look. Recently Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint in Mattydale New York. Karen just came back from Australia to take care of her parents' estate. Her realtor, Vincent Ezzo of Howard Hanna, called me weeks in advance to quote out the interior and exterior painting to have buyer ready. After we met to discuss the sellers needs the quote was sent and accepted. A few weeks later work began promptly. To start the problem areas of the exterior were hand scraped to remove the peeling paint. The debris were carefully contained and discarded. Next these areas were spot sanded then primed with Purcell's PPG Seal Grip Acrylic Primer to make the paint stick very well. Seams were caulked and all plants-trees and surfaces not being painted were covered with painters' plastic and drop cloths. Next one coat of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select flat ultra-white was applied with a sprayer for a factory finish. While the outside dried, we went inside and removed water damaged sections of the vaulted ceilings in her master bathroom and in a bedroom. Once removed these sections were floated with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-retextured-spot primed. Following the prep work two coats of Purcell's Muresco Ceiling Paint were applied brushed and rolled to brighten up each area. The house sold the following day after the work was completed for 20k over the asking price. Thank you for all the work! Happy travels and cheers!

Recently Donigan painting completed an interior painting in Dewitt NY. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was sent and accepted. Work began a few weeks later Monday morning. To start the cabinets, counters, hardware, fixtures and floor were covered with painters' plastic, drop cloths, paper and tape. The walls and ceiling were repaired with joint compound, sanded-cleaned-spot primed. Their base-window-door molding was scuffed with fine grit sandpaper, wiped down, and caulked as needed. Next one coat of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Muresco Ceiling Paint was applied throughout both the first and second floors. Once the paint had setup the walls were cut in with Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Classic Gey eggshell finish. Once each room was cut-in two coats were rolled on with a 3/8s nap for a smooth finish. To wrap this one up two coats of Regal Classic Trim Enamel were applied to all the molding brushed and rolled in a bright white satin finish. Thank you for all the work!
