Recently Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint on DeRuyter Lake. JOhn and Bonnie wanted to update their camps color from white to something with color. After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent, the date set, colors finalized, contract signed. Work began promptly a few weeks later. First the camp was cleaned of the cobwebs and bugs that come along with camp life. Loose paint was scraped off and spot primed. Seams were caulked. One coat of Benjamin Moores REgal Select Bright white semigloss was applied to all the molding, fascia, soffit. Next two coats of Benjamin Moores Regal Select in Teton Blue semigloss were applied to the asbestos shingles. The site was cleaned and reset when we finished. Thank you or the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint in Camillus New York. Jo and Steve just bought a new home on Breakspear Road and wanted to change the color from a dull beige to Benjamin Moores Bold Blue. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was sent and accepted, date set, colors finalized. Work began promptly a month later with removing their old shutters, downspouts, hardware. The house was pressure washed a few weeks earlier. Areas that had chipping paint were had scraped, spot primed, seams caulked. Once prep work was completed one coat of Purcells Benjamin Moore Regal Select Ultra White semi-gloss was sprayed on to the gutters and soffit. The wood windows were trimmed out with the same color after being sanded-primed. Next the windows were taped-masked then two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select High Build flat were sprayed-brushed-rolled twice since it is a very dark color. The deck was two coated with Arborcoat in a light grey for the floor and black for the rail system. Thankyou for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an exterior repaint in Mattydale New York. Vincent and Karen are getting ready to sell their parents home. After many years of wear and tear it was time to freshen up the outside to help it sell faster. After meeting with the two the quote was sent and accepted, date set, contract signed. Work began promptly a week later because they were under the gun to get it listed quickly and sold. So to start all the problem areas on the wood clapboards was thoroughly hand scraped and cut back using a 5 in 1 to lose the edge. Everything was contained using heavy mil plastic on the ground for little to no cleanup. The bare wood was oil primed then top coated with Purcells Regal Select Exterior flat white. Recently Donigan Painting completed a kitchen cabinet reface in Manlius New York. Ted and Tom just bought their first home together. Their oak kitchen cabinets from the 90's were still in great shape, they like the profile, so they decided to see the cost to paint them vs replace them along with counter tops. After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent and accepted, date set, colors finalized, contract signed. About a month later we began. First all the cabinet doors were removed and setup in their attached garage in a make shift spray area. The doors and cabinets were thoroughly sanded to remove the finish, then cleaned. Two coats of Purcell's Seal Grip Primer by PPG was sprayed and brushed in. The cabinet's were sanded again before two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd was sprayed on giving a glass like finish that is very very close to a factory finish. Once everything had setup for a few days the doors were rehung with new hardware and pulls that were drilled to fit.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Joe and Jennifer just bought a home with very dated wallpaper in their bathrooms. After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent-accepted, date set, contract signed, colors finalized. work started about a month later. First the two layers of wallpaper were removed using tried and true painters practices. Once the paper was the removed the walls were skin coated with joint compound, sanded and primed. Since the paper was not put on correctly it took alot of effort to get it all off and cleaned. Once prep work was completed one coat of Purcell's Muresco Ceiling Paint was applied followed by two coats of their Benjamin More Regal Select in two light greys, Cumulus Cloud-Shoreline. The doors and molding were caulked and scuffed then top coated with two coats of Sherwin Williams ProClassic ultra white semigloss.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Skaneateles New York. Steve and Debbie were getting ready to sell their large family home to downsize. After we met and discussed their needs the quote was sent and accepted, date set, contract signed, colors finalized. Work began promptly a month later. To start counters-cabinets-floors were covered with drop cloths-painters plastic. Prep work included making small repairs to the walls with joint compound, caulking gaps around the molding and sanding the walls to smooth with fine grit sandpaper for a glass like finish with the top coats. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was brushed and rolled followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Classic Grey eggshell finish. The base molding was sand scuffed-wiped down and top coated with Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd for a superior-tough finish.

Once prep was complete two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied brushed and rolled. Following this two coats of Purcell's Paints Benjamin Moore Regal Select Simple White eggshell finish were applied in each room for a uniform look.
