Interior Exterior House Painting Contractor Painter Kitchen Cabinet Resurfacing Kitchen Cabinet Painting Syracuse New York

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior kitchen repaint, cabinet refacing, cabinet repaint on Onondaga Hill. Jim and Janelle just bought a new home with very dated 90's original oak kitchen cabinets. After discussing their needs, the quote was sent, date set, colors chosen. We started a few weeks later. When we began, we removed all 50 cabinets doors and drawers. Pulls and hinges were removed and stored. A makeshift paint shop was setup in their basement using sawhorses-wood planking-painters plastic to contain the area. First each side of the doors were machine sanded to remove the polyurethane finish and rough up the surface. Following this the cabinets were wiped down and vacuumed three times to remove any trace of dust. Once the doors were sanded and cleaned two coats of PPG's Seal Grip Primer were applied to them and allowed to setup for a few days. Following this the doors were sanded with 220 grit to smooth out any irregularities then thoroughly cleaned. Once prep work was completed three coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Advance Chantilly Lace satin finish were sprayed for a factory finish, no brush marks or roller stipple period. Once the cabinets had setup for about a week, long enough for the paint to harden. The doors and drawers where then replaced with their original hinges. Once the doors were hung new 5–8-inch pulls were drilled and installed. Thank you for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Marcellus NY. Mark and Stephanie just moved to Central NY from Massachusetts. After meeting to discuss their needs a few weeks ago we set the date. Work began promptly Monday morning three weeks later. To start we centered and covered all the furniture. Fixtures, cabinets were taped -masked. Repairs were made to the ceilings and walls with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and primed. Following this one coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied brushed and rolled. Once this setup two coats of Sherwin Williams Cashmere Eggshell finish in Alabaster were applied to the walls. In between coats the doors and molding were cleaned, scuffed, prepped for paint. Two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Advance bright white satin were applied. Thank you for all the work and enjoy your new home!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an office interior repaint in downtown Syracuse. Chris runs an insurance company in the MONY Tower. He was just promoted along with his team members and as a thankyou he bought repaints for his team. Since daytime was a challenge due to business hours we worked 3-9 pm. The date was set, colors were picked from Purcell's Paints Benjamin Moore line and we began work about a month later. To start all office furniture was centered and covered with painters' plastic in all 10 offices. Since we were just painting walls, we moved with the quickness. Two coats of each employee's color choice was rolled and brushed on by the god damn best of them. We rocked those fucking offices so hard that the rest of the floor bought in to doing the same with their offices turning a few days into about a month of work. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse New York. Dave and Dan just bought their first home together in Strathmore. The previous owner had wallpapered half the house. So after meeting and discussing their needs the quote was sent and accepted. Following this the colors where chosen, start date set, contract signed, and deposit sent. We started about two months later. The first two weeks wall papered rooms were stripped, the walls repaired with joint compound, walls were primed to seal them. Following the prep work the ceiling throughout were two coated with Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint. Next two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Interior Eggshell in multi colors were applied brushed and rolled. Once the walls setup the were taped out and the molding was sprayed with two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance Decorators White satin finish. Thanks for all the work guy! Enjoy your new home.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Marcellus New York. Mark and Stephanie just moved here from Massuchusetts and bought a new home. When we met a few weeks ago we discussed what they would like to do to make it their own. Stephanie chose a grey and white combo for easy decorating and a light airy feel. When work began, we covered all the floors and fixtures with painters' plastic, drop cloth's, paper-tape. Switch and outlet covers-registers were removed and cleaned. The walls dings-dents-holes were repaired with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-primed. The doors and molding were sand scuffed with fine grit sandpaper to remove the finish, so the paint adheres properly. Ceiling stains were oil primed; gaps were caulked. Once prep work was completed two coats of Sherwin Wiliams ProMar Ceiling were applied. Following this the molding and doors were two coated with Benjamin Moore Advance Enamel-Purcell's Paints bright white satin finish. Next two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in Classic Grey were applied to the walls brushed and rolled. All furniture was uncovered and reset. We cleaned up and wished them well in their new neighborhood. Thank you for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed a kitchen cabinet makeover. Tom and Melanie wanted to update their kitchen without replacing a ton of cabinets and spending a small fortune, so they called me. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was sent providing the scope of work they requested. Their biggest concern was brush and roller marks. In order to avoid either of these outcomes I sprayed the cabinets to prevent brush or roller stippling. Spraying the cabinets is as close to a factory finish as you can get. So, to start all the doors and drawers were removed, hardware was taken off-stored, and they were setup for horizontal spraying for a glass like finish when dried. First each side of the cabinets were cleaned thoroughly with degreaser then sanded with 220 sandpaper to remove the finish. Once sanding cleaning was completed the drawers and doors were vacuumed and wiped down twice before the first coat was sprayed on the back. After a few days the doors-drawers were flipped, and the front sides were given the first coat of three. IN between each coat the surfaces were lightly sanded to remove imperfections and to help the next coat adhere best. Once the spraying was completed the setup for about a week before hardware was replaced, new pulls were drilled and installed, and they were rehung. The ceiling-walls-molding were then prepped and painted to complete their kitchen makeover. Thank you for all the work!

After meeting and discussing their needs we decided on a price, the date was set and colors where chosen. When work began a few weeks later we started by covering all the hardware, cabinets and floors with drop cloths-painters plastic-painters paper. Repairs were made to walls with joint compound as needed then sanded and primed. Once prep work was complete one coat of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Ceiling Paint was sprayed. Once the ceiling dried two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Classic Grey eggshell was brushed and rolled onto the walls. Next the molding and doors were scuffed with fine grit sandpaper to remove the finish then two coated-sprayed with Sherwin Williams Emerald Enamel Chantilly Lace satin finish.
