Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Mattydale, NY. Christine is getting ready to sell her rental property on Malden Road. Her brother owned the property and recently passed. Since she lives out of town everything was coordinated over the phone or email. The duplex's interiors were in pretty rough shape. Both tenants were heavy smokers and owned cats. After making wall repairs, masking out and covering surfaces three coats of Purcell's PPG Seal Grip Primer were applied to seal the staining. After the third coat it finally covered and all the stains disappeared. Once the interior was completed we went right to the exterior and started scraping the loose paint to prep for new paint. Once the house was scraped. primed, and caulked one top coat of Sherwin Williams Duration was applied in the same color to match the rest of the house. With bank financing loose paint must be scraped-primed-painted for some loan approvals. Thank you for all the work! Good Luck

Recently Donigan Panting completed an interior repaint in Camillus, NY. Jay and Sandy just bought a new home on Feldspar Lane. The previous owners painted the entire interior yellow. After meeting and discussing their needs we agreed on a price, set the date, finalized colors. When work began we started with centering all the furniture in each room being painted. Floors, hardware, counters-cabinets, and furniture were covered with drop cloths, plastic and paper to protect them. Prep work included repairing minor damage to the walls, sanding the walls and priming a few water stains. Once prep work was complete the ceilings were one coated with Purcell's Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint. Following this two oats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint in a light grey were applied to the walls. Once this had set up the molding was scuffed with fine grit sandpaper, caulked as needed then top coated with Benjamin Moore Regal Classic Enamel bright white semi-gloss.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus, New York. Janelle just bought a cape near West Genesee High School that needed the whole interior top to bottom painted before she moved in. When we met she explained that the dark colors in each room had to go with a fresher earth tones that reflect more light. When we started Monday morning the floors, cabinets, counters, and hardware, and windows were taped and masked. Following this repairs were made to the walls and ceiling with joint compound and retexturing a few spots that had water damage. The walls and molding were sanded, caulked. One coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was applied to start. Once it set up for a few hours two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint Simply White eggshell was applied to the walls. To wrap this one up two coats of Sherwin-Williams ProClassic bright white semigloss were applied. Thank you for all the work and good luck in your new home.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Mattydale, NY. Christine called a couple of weeks ago for a quote to repaint her late brothers home to get ready to put on the real estate market. Once everything was cleared out we began work. To start all the hardwood floors were covered with drop cloths, counters-cabinets were taped-masked. Walls and ceiling inconsistencies were repaired with joint compound and retextured as needed. All the walls were pole sanded to smooth. Once prep work was complete one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was sprayed on. Following this two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint in an eggshell finish were applied to the walls. To wrap this job up we cleaned up, removed tape-paper and reset the hardware.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Clay, NY. Kevin and Dalia wanted to freshen up their Ryan Homes contractor grade paint job with colors of their own beyond flat white. They were planning to have hardwoods installed right after the work was completed. They wanted everything in their colonial painted with the exception of the bedrooms and ceilings. So we started on the first floor. The floors were dropped covered, cabinets/counters/fixtures were taped masked. The walls were pole sanded to smooth. Dings-dents-holes were repaired with joint compound, cleaned, primed. The base-door-window molding was scuff to remove the finish and caulked as needed. Two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint in an eggshell finish were then applied. Once this had set up the molding was top coated with Benjamin Moore's Regal Classic bright white semi-gloss. Furniture-rooms were reset and we cleaned up. Thank you for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt, NY. Matt and Daniella just bought their first home off of Maple Drive. Most of the interior had decorating from the 80's. Half the rooms had wallpaper direct from Back to the Future. They planned to have the painting done before they moved in to make completing the project faster. So after the quote and contract were signed, the deposit was sent, the date was set we got right to work. To start we spent a few days removing the wallpaper and paste from the walls. This involved soaking the walls with DIF and hot-hot water. Once the paper was off the walls were then thoroughly scrubbed to remove the paste backer. The walls were then repaired with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and primed. The floors, cabinets, counters, fixtures were masked-taped-covered. Next one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint was applied to all the ceilings. Following this two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint in Simply White were applied. To wrap this one up two coats of Pro Classic Enamel were applied to the molding.

Recently Donigan painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero New York. Brian and Lisa just bought their first home and wanted to add their personal touch with new paint colors. Once they closed on the house the contract was signed, the deposit was sent, colors chosen and start date set. When we arrived Monday morning we started by prepping the first floor. This included covering all the oak floors with drop cloths, covering cabinets-counters-fixtures with painters plastic/paper. Switch and outlet covers were removed, the walls were repaired with joint compound filling dins-dents-holes. The walls were then pole sanded to remove imperfections then cleaned. The crown-window-door-base0 molding were scuffed with fine grit sand paper, caulked and cleaned. Next one coat of Sherwin-Williams Promar Ceiling Paint was applied to the ceiling throughout. Following this the molding was sprayed bright white in semi-gloss finish Sherwin-Willliams Pro-Classic Enamel. Once everything set up over night we applied two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint eggshell in an off-white. All tape-plastic-paper was removed and we cleaned the site. Enjoy your new home!
