This past week Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Manlius, NY. Steve, a repeat customer, called me to paint his sons bedroom new bed he just put together. To start the walls were pole sanded to smooth, outlet covers/switch plates were removed, the molding was taped out and drop cloth's were placed on the floor. Two coats of Benjamin Moore's Regal Select in Silver Lake eggshell were applied to the walls. A new bed frame was also primed with two coats of PPG' s Seal-Grip to prepare it for paint the next day. After drying overnight two coats of Sherwin-Willliams Emerald Enamel bright white in a satin finish were brushed and rolled onto the frame. Here is how it turned out!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero, NY. Larry and Megan just bought a new home with dated colors throughout. We met and did the walk thru a few weeks ago before they closed to get them an estimate. They wanted every room in their 3000sqft house painted top to bottom. So to began we went in and taped-masked all the fixtures-windows-floors then sprayed one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling. This was followed by patching walls with joint compound and pole sanding them to smooth. Once prep work was completed two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in eggshell finish were applied to the walls. Once the paint had setup correctly the walls were taped and masked around the molding and doors to prepare them for spraying. Every surface of the molding and doors was machine sanding to dull the finish so the paint would adhere better then sprayed with Benjamin Moore's Advanced Enamel bright white in a satin finish.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Manlius NY. Steve and Lisa called for a quote to repaint sections of their mcmansion. Last week their driveway foyer was painted. At some point they had a roof leak that caused the paint to fail on the walls and ceiling. To fix this the damage sections were cut out and floated with a few coats of joint compound then textured to match the ceiling pattern. The original color was matched with a paint chip at Sherwin-Williams that was perfectly mixed to the exact same color and sheen. Next up they are planning to repaint their kids bedrooms and all the dated molding in their first floor hallways and entries.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Valley Neighborhood. Mary called for a quote about a month ago to repaint her guest bedroom and finished basement. After the kids moved out her guests bedrooms dated wallpaper had to go. Her husband recently had a stroke and she needed to have a place for her daughters to stay when they come to visit and help out with his care. When I met Mary I could tell she was a little overwhelmed so I lowered my price slightly to help her out. So to start the wallpaper was removed with DIF and thoroughly cleaned to remove the paste. Nail holes and cracks were patched with joint compound. Prior to starting most of the furniture was removed from the room and what was left was centered and covered with painters plastic. Hardware and covers were removed. The oak floors were covered with drop cloth's. The ceiling was one coated with Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint and two coats of Sherwin Williams Cashmere in an eggshell finish were applied to the walls. Two coats of Benjamin Moore's Advanced bright white in a semigloss finish were applied to the window-door molding and doors.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Comstock Neighborhood. Jordan called us for an estimate a month ago to repaint his guest bedroom. When they bought their home a few years ago the previous owner had painted the room a hot pink that just wasn't working for them. So last weekend he cleaned out the room and I got to work. Since it is an older home the walls are plaster and areas of the bedrooms walls had cracked due to the house settling over 100 years. So to start the cracks were floated out with joint compound. Switch plates, outlet covers and hardware were removed and stored. Their oak hardwoods were covered with drop cloth's and the base molding was taped out to protect it. Next everything was cut-in then two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in an eggshell finish were applied transforming the room.

Recently Donigan Painting completed and interior repaint in Manlius NY. John and Jill called for a quote to repaint their first floor a few months ago. They wanted to update the colors in their home on the walls, molding and ceilings. They choose to use Sherwin Williams Cashmere for the walls, Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint for the ceilings, and Sherwin Williams Emerald Enamel in a bright white satin finish for the molding and doors. Two coats of ceiling paint were rolled onto the ceiling s setting the background for beautiful new walls colors. Next two coats of Cashmere were applied to the walls. To wrap this one up two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Enamel where sprayed onto the molding and doors for a factory finish. Prep work included thoroughly sanding the walls, molding, doors, filling cracks and holes, and pole sanding the walls to smooth for a glass like finish.

Last week Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse/s Strathmore Neighborhood. James and Barbara moved from Florida and purchased a new home that needed renovations. They called for a quote a month ago and scheduled the work for last week. They plan to paint the entire house but wanted to get their main living areas spruced up before moving in later next month. So we started with painting two main bedrooms, the living room, and the downstairs office. First we pole sanded the walls to smooth, filled holes with joint compound, taped out the natural wood molding to protect it, dropped out the floors and cover fixtures with painters plastic. Next two coats of high quality Sherwin Williams Paint were applied to the walls. Once everything dried hardware and fixtures were reset and we cleaned up. Here is how it turned out!
