Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint for a customer in Dewitt, NY. Lauren called for a quote a few weeks ago to repaint the first floor of her colonial home. Her home was built 20 years ago and she was ready to update the look of her walls, ceilings, doors, and molding. In her home we went room by room so that her house was not in shambles while we worked there. Her furniture was centered and covered with plastic and the floors, cabinets-counters, were taped and masked. After the dings and dents were filled with joint compound and the walls-molding-doors were sanded we got right to the paint. We started with the ceilings with one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint then moved to the walls with two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Pewter in an eggshell finish for easy cleaning and little maintenance. The doors knobs were removed and replaced with each room so there would be no obvious brush strokes with each coat of BM's Impervo white satin finish. When we finished furniture was uncovered and replaced and we left her home clean so all she had to do was decorate.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse, NY. Ted called for a quote a couple of months ago to brighten up his new home. After moving in he called a bunch of painting contractors for quotes that ranged from very low to thru the roof. Recently Donigan Painting completed a bathroom face-lift for a customer in Radisson, NY. Karen called us for a quote to remove a couple toilets, install new toilets-vanity top-faucet, and repaint the bathrooms. She was going out of town and needed it done before she returned in a few days so we got right to work. The older stlye toilets where removed as well as the vanity top-faucet and replaced with new fixtures. New water lines where ran and extra thick seals where installed to insure smooth visits to bathroom for years to come. Karen had leaky toilets whose seals where installed wrong and not tightened correctly leading to leaks and odors. Once the new faucet and toilets where set up they were tested and put right to work by yours truly. To pull it all together two coats of Sherwin Williams Snowbound flat were applied to the walls. Prior to painting the walls were repaired with jint compound to smooth out areas the original vanity top was glued to. The before and after pictures are below.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Liverpool, NY. Amber and Kevin called for a free painting quote in September. After living in their home for a number of years and a few kids later they wanted to update the look of their main living areas. In the kitchen and living room border was removed from the walls. The two bathrooms wallpaper were removed and the walls were then repaired with joint compound. We started by applying one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint, from Purcell's, in the bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, family room and hallways. Following this the walls were pole sanded to smooth. All the cabinets, granite, vanities and floors were then covered with paper, plastic,tape and drop cloths. Two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in an off white were applied to all the walls in each room. To wrap this one up one coat of bright white satin paint, Impervo, were applied to the molding and doors through out.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Baldwinsville, NY. Sharon called a few weeks ago for an estimate to paint her hallways-stairway-bathrooms. She wanted to update the colors on her walls and freshen up the ceilings with new paint. She chose colors by Benjamin Moore, available at Purcell's, in neutrals with eggshell finishes. The ceilings were one coated with Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint. Wall paper was removed in a few areas and more extensive wall repair was completed due to the wallpaper being directly glued to the sheetrock. In these spots we primed the floated areas with Seal-Grip by PPG then two coated the walls with Regal Select Interior. To pull it all together one coat of Impervo satin was applied to all the base molding through out. We also replaced a toilet that was broke in one of the bathrooms with a new seal and waterline caulked in tight to the floor.

Recently Donigan Painting completed a repaint in Manlius, NY. Karen just bought a new home and wanted to personalize it with new paint that fit her style. After selecting a few earth tone colors from Purcell's Paints by Benjamin Moore we got right to work. Since the house was still empty we were able to save her some money with less setup costs. On this job we painted her living room, dining room, family room, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, the kitchen and a few hallways. The ceilings throughout the house were given one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint to start. Next we spot primed the molding and doors, filled seams-nail holes, sanded then one coated the molding with Impervo satin. Following this the walls dings and dents were repaired with joint compound then two coated in the various colors. To wrap this interior painting job up we 2nd coated the molding, touched up and replaced hardware.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior painting job in Syracuse, NY. David and Dan called for a quote a few months ago to repaint their 1920's colonial on Fellows Ave. They had recently renovated their kitchen and bathrooms and wanted to complete the remodel by repainting most of their rooms. The furniture was being replaced so the house was very bare when we started. We covered the floors, furniture and surfaces with paper-plastic-tape and started cleaning and sanding walls and molding. Next we caulked gaps-seams, filled nail holes, repaired dings-dents and cleaned. To start the ceilings through out the first and second floors were two coated with Purcell's Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint. Following this all the molding-doors-crown were sprayed with Benjamin Moore's Impervo Satin Bright White twice. The doors and hardware were removed prior to painting and setup in the basement for the best result. To wrap this one up two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Pewter in an eggshell finish were applied to the walls through out. The doors new chrome hardware was installed and all 25 doors were rehung.
