Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Eastwood Neighborhood. The Sweets are a friend of the family who called needing extensive repair work done to their foyer-stairway ceilings and walls. After meeting to discuss their needs the start date was set. A short time later work began promptly Monday morning. Setup included covering the hardwood floors with clean drop cloths and containing the hallway with painters plastic to avoid spreading dust from the work to the other rooms. Sections of the foyer ceiling and stairway were precisely cut out to remove the buckling plaster and original wallpaper. Once these areas were cleaned out one coat of joint compound was applied to bring these areas flush. After allowing this to dry overnight we returned, and hand sanded the patches to smooth then spot primed with a high quality acrylic primer. Once the primer setup one coat of matching paint was applied restoring these areas to pristine form. Thank you for all the work.
