Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero NY. Katie and Jon just bought a home and before moving in they wanted to repaint the whole interior top to bottom. After we met the quote was given on the spot and emailed then accepted. After the contract was signed, colors chosen work began about a month later. We began by covering all the floors with clean drop cloths, removing old hardware, repairing walls, taping and masking cabinets-counters-fixture's. Once setup and prep work was completed two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling paint was sprayed-brushed and rolled. While this was being done all the doors, 20, were removed as well as the hardware and setup in a spray area in the garage. The walls-molding-doors were machine and hand sanded to remove the sheen and provide the best adhesion for new paint. Two coats of Purcells Regal Select were applied brushed and rolled. Following these two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Alkyd were sprayed onto the doors and molding for a factory finish. Thank you for the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Fayetteville New York. Steve and Lorrie just bought a new home in the village, and it needed major updating. Their new home was at least 100 years old and was showing alot of that age. We discussed their needs and the quote was accepted. Work started a few weeks later promptly Monday morning. The house was still vacant while work was being done so setup went fast. Clean drop cloths were placed over the floors, cabinets-counters were masked. Prep work included cleaning the dust, vacuuming, off of the molding-walls-ceilings. Repairs were made to the walls and ceilings as needed with joint compound. Seams-gaps along the molding were caulked and knocked down. Two coats of ceiling paint were sprayed-brushed-rolled. These older homes suck up the paint when they have not been painted in years. Many of their rooms had very old wallpaper that needed to be removed with tried and true practices of hot water soaking and a commercial grade steamer. Once the layers were removed the walls were thoroughly cleaned to remove the paste then sanded to smooth and further repaired with joint compound as needed. One coat of Purcells PPG Seal-Grip Primer was applied to all walls before two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select was applied to all the walls in each room. The molding was sanded to scuff the surface then top coated with two applications of Sherwin Williams ProClassic Alkyd. Thank you for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint on Tipperary Hill on Syracuse's West Side son. Liam McConnell called for a quote to paint his living room-dining room-kitchen top to bottom. After quoting the work on the spot we set the date, signed the contract and work began a couple weeks later. We started with setup which included: centering and covering each rooms furniture, covering the floors with clean drop cloths. Prep work included cleaning-vacuuming the ceiling-walls-molding of dust-dirt-cobwebs, repairing holes-cracks with joint compound, caulking gaps, sanding walls-molding. Once the prep was completed one coat of Purcell's PPG Ceiling Paint was applied, followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select eggshell in Simply White on the walls, then two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Alkyd on the molding. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Eastwood Neighborhood. The Sweets are a friend of the family who called needing extensive repair work done to their foyer-stairway ceilings and walls. After meeting to discuss their needs the start date was set. A short time later work began promptly Monday morning. Setup included covering the hardwood floors with clean drop cloths and containing the hallway with painters plastic to avoid spreading dust from the work to the other rooms. Sections of the foyer ceiling and stairway were precisely cut out to remove the buckling plaster and original wallpaper. Once these areas were cleaned out one coat of joint compound was applied to bring these areas flush. After allowing this to dry overnight we returned, and hand sanded the patches to smooth then spot primed with a high quality acrylic primer. Once the primer setup one coat of matching paint was applied restoring these areas to pristine form. Thank you for all the work. One of my realtor's former clients passed away last year and owned multiple properties that needed updating to be listed. One of the properties is located on Cumberland Ave. The house was vacant so setup and prep was a breeze. We started by covering the hardwood floors with clean drop cloths, repairing walls, cleaning dust, and sanding surfaces. Once prep was completed one coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint was applied brushed and rolled. Following these two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint in a matched grey paint were applied to the walls.
