Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Jamesville New York. Joe is getting ready to sell his townhome and wanted to update the colors and repaint the ceilings. After meeting to discuss his needs the quote was sent and accepted. The start date was set for a few weeks later and work began promptly Monday morning. Furniture was moved to the center of each room, floors covered with clean drop cloths, cabinets-counters-hardware were taped and masked with painters' plastic and paper. The sand textured ceilings had water damage in many spots due to a leaky roof that was replaced. So the water damaged sections were removed and floated with new joint compound, sanded to flush, then textured to match the pattern. Eah repair was spot primed with Purcells PPG Seal Grip to prevent flashing. Following this one coat of Purcells PPG Ceiling Paint was applied flat bright white. The walls were pole sanded to smooth and repaired with joint compound as needed. After prep two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore in Simply White eggshell finish were rolled and brushed.
