Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior Kitchen cabinet repaint in Camillus NY. Al and his wife wanted to update their 30 year old oak cabinets with some color. After pricing out the cost for new cabinets and counters they opted to safe a lot of money and go with a pro. We started promptly Monday morning with setting up a spray area in their basement. Plastic was draped from 4 sides, the floors were covered, and saw horses were set up for the doors. Once setup was complete the doors and hardware were removed , machine sanded on both sides, cleaned, caulked, vacuumed. One coat of Purcell's PPG Seal Grip Primer was sprayed on both sides of the doors and applied to the cabinets brushed and rolled. Once the primer setup for a day the first coat of Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd in Almond satin finish was sprayed on both sides. After drying for 24 hours the second coat was applied and allowed to setup. The next day the doors were reinstalled with new hardware. The drawers were redrilled for handle pulls.
