Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint and hardwood floor refinishing job in Syracuse's University Neighborhood. Sue called for a quote to repaint her living room and dining room. After initially meeting for a consult she decided on colors, we set the date and the contract was signed. The following week work begin with painting her rooms. To' start we applied one coat of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint. After it dried two coats of Sherwin-Williams Cashmere were applied to the walls after some minor prep work that included pole sanding and filling a few nail holes. The base-window molding was sanded to remove its finish then two coats of Benjamin Moore Advanced Enamel was applied in an off-white satin finish. Sue added on refinishing her oak hardwoods while we there. They had seen better days and needed two courses of drum sanding to remove the polyurethane. After thoroughly cleaning the dust three coats of Minwax satin polyurethane were applied with light sanding in between coats for a very smooth finish.
