This past week Donigan Painting worked with a couple in Cicero who just bought a home and are moving here from Ohio.  Adam and Jen called a few months ago to line up time for a quote when they were in town.  After meeting and discussing their needs I sent the quote and they decided to move forward with their interior painting.  Their Ryan Home needed to be freshened up with contemporary colors.  They chose shades of blue from Sherwin Williams.  The kitchen, family room, sun porch and master bedroom had two coats of Sherwin Williams Ovation in a satin finish applied.  When working with darker colors in my experience this product provides excellent coverage in fewer coats.  Before the paint was put on all the outlet-switch covers were removed, the curtain hardware was taken down, nail-screw holes were filled with joint compound and the base-door-window molding was taped out to protect the wood finish.  The walls were rough from the previous painters naps shedding so they were all sanded with 220 grit paper to remove the snags for a smooth glass like finish when the paint was applied.  They are very pleased with the results.  Here is how it all turned out!
