Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Dewitt New York. Jane and Anthony just bought their first home next to Drumlins Gold Course. They wanted their split level ranch painted from top to bottom. We started with covering up all the hardwood floors with clean drop cloths, removing registers-covers-hardware, masking windows-cabinets-counters-fixtures with painters plastic. Prep work included repairs to the walls, sanding surfaces, cleaning. Once completed one coat od Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling was sprayed onto the ceilings. Following this two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore were apply in Simply White brushed and rolled. The molding was two coated with Advance.

Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Skaneateles New York. Judge P called for a quote to paint the interior of his newly purchased cottage. The three-bedroom waterfront cottage had all wainscotting walls they wanted painted and along with the kitchen cabinets. Once the date was set, colors finalized, contract signed, deposit received work began about a month later. We started with centering and covering the furniture, covering the floors with clean drop cloths, removing hardware. Once setup was complete one coat of Zinsser's Oil Primer was applied to all the wood and cabinets. Gaps were caulked and loose boards were nailed down. Two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore Regal select were applied to the walls brushed and rolled. The doors and molding were scuffed-cleaned then top coated twice with BM's Advance Alkyd bright white semigloss. Hardware was replaced and the rooms were reset to wrap this one up.

Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Fayetteville Manlius New York. Dr. G wanted his kitchen and living room updated with new colors. We met and discussed his specification, the date was set, colors finalized, contract signed, deposit received. work began a few weeks later and started promptly that Monday morning. We started with centering and covering the furniture in each room with new painters plastic. The carpet and hardwoods were covered with clean drop cloths. Register, covers and hardware were removed and stored. Repairs were made to the walls with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-spot primed. The walls and molding were cleaned-scuffed-caulked. A few water stains on the ceilings were oil primed to seal them then the ceilings were brushed and rolled with Sherwin Williams PorMar Ceiling Paint. Next two coats of SW's Cashmere in Classic Grey were applied. To wrap this beaut up we applied two coats of Purcells Benjamin Moore Advance Urethane to all the molding and reset the rooms.

Recently Donigan painting completed a kitchen cabinet repaint-refinishing in Dewitt New York. Ella and Jon have a huge kitchen with 45 cabinets including two islands that are different colors. The oak yellow finish was not cutting it anymore and they are getting ready to list their house. Once colors were finalized, the date was set, contract signed, deposit received work began promptly a few weeks later. To start we setup a spray booth in their large basement to work on the doors-drawers in a contained area to minimize dust etc. Each door and drawer were carefully removed, along with the hardware and placed on horses in the basement. Each side of the doors-drawers were lightly sanded with 220 grit to remove the sheen and promote maximum adhesion. Next each unit was thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down before one coat of Purcells PPG Seal Grip was sprayed on each side. In between coats the same preparation was used on the rails-cabinets then primed. After the primer setup for 24 hours the first coat of two were sprayed on each side with a fine tip. Once they had dried for 48 hours the hardware was reinstalled and each unit was replaced carefully. To wrap this one up we painted the kitchen walls a light grey and the doors-molding a bright white semigloss. Thanks for all the work!

Donigan Painting recently completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. Ian and Lisa just bought their first home and wanted to update the colors. Their contemporary house had a range of colors that did not flow. After meeting with them to discuss their needs, finalizing colors, setting the start date, signing the contract, and receiving the deposit we were ready to start a few weeks later. Since they had not moved in yet setup was a breeze. Clean drop cloths were placed over all the hardwood floors and carpeting upstairs. Kitchen cabinets-counters-hardware-windows were taped and masked with paper-plastic. Switch -cover-register plates were removed and stored. 16 doors were removed from their jams and setup in their large two car garage in a spray jig. Preparation included repairs to the walls and ceilings with joint compound, sanding all surfaces for maximum adhesion and then clean them. A few areas of the ceilings had water stains that were primed with oil to seal them. Borders were removed from some of the walls and then thoroughly scraped and washed to remove the backer and paste. Next two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint were sprayed on. Following these two coats of their choice colors were applied to each rooms walls brushed and rolled. In between coats the raised panel doors were lightly sanded-cleaned-then top coated with a fine tip sprayer for a factory finish in bright white. New hardware was installed, and the doors were rehung. Cleanup was a snap. Thaks for all the work!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse Universities Westcott Neighborhood. Dan and Jane just bought a large Victorian home with lots of wallpaper. They wanted all the wallpaper removed and the entire interior repainted to their taste. We started with removing the 15 rooms wallpaper with DIF-steaming and a few other tried and true practices. Once the paper was removed most of the walls needed to be floated with a skim coat of joint compound to level them out. Next the walls were sanded to smooth and cleaned before one coat of PPG Seal Grip Primer was applied to seal the new mud. Once all the caulking and cleaning was done we applied two coats of ceiling paint followed by two coats of paint on the walls using Purcells Ultra Spec line. To wrap this house up we applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance urethane for a highly durable-lasting finish.

After meeting with him to discuss his needs, we formulated a plan and set the date. Shortly thereafter work was started. We began by covering all the floors, cabinets, counters-hardware. Prep work included making repairs to the walls with joint compound, sanding surfaces, cleaning, caulking, and priming as needed. Since the previous tenants used very dark colors on the walls we primed most of them to neutralize the colors. Donigan Painting Company recently completed an interior repaint at Syracuse Hancock International Airport. Dave, a manager, called our company back to paint another of their restaurants. Previously we painted the hamburger joint they have. This time around we were doing Middle Ages Brewery Bar. They wanted to change the colors to Syracuse University themed colors of orange and blue and also their pale ale can. We started late at night to complete the project with no flights leaving or bar patrons. We started at 10 pm and worked till about 6 am. First we setup by covering the bar area, benches, counters, etc. Next prep work included wall repairs with fast set joint compound, caulking and sanding surfaces for maximum adhesion. Two coats of SU's colors were applied to the walls. While we the paint setup at the bar we moved next door to the shop to also repaint their store area. Thank you for the work Dave.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint at Syracuse's Polish Home. Big John called us again for another repaint at their club. They had renovated the bowling alley area into a large game room and wanted to freshen up the walls and columns. Once the new Epoxy floor had setup work began promptly about two weeks later. We started by setting up clean drop cloths-taping-masking as needed. Repairs were made to the walls with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-spot primed. The columns-walls-molding were lightly sanded to improve adhesion then cleaned. Next two coats of a light grey eggshell paint were applied. The bowling alley knee wall was sprayed matte black twice. Each of the 12 columns were cleaned-sanded-primed then top coated 5 times with the polish flag colors. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Baldwinsville New York. Joe and Josie just bought a house and wanted to change all the colors throughout 5,000 square feet. The lime green theme throughout was played out. After spending an hour walking thru and discussing their needs we put together a game plan. I setup a meeting with Purcell's Paints interior design staff to help them coordinate their colors choices. Fast forward a month later and work began promptly Monday morning early. Since they had not moved in setup went quick. Floors-cabinets-counters-hardware were masked and taped for protection and covered with clean drop cloths. Next all the doors ,30, were removed and setup in their basement in a make shift spray area that was contained with painters plastic. Repairs were made to the walls with joint compound , sanded, cleaned and spot primed. Spot priming is necessary so the new joint compound does not flash when painted. Seams were caulked around all the door-floor-window-crown molding and knocked down with a clean wet rag. The doors were setup up in a jig-sanded to remove the finish-then cleaned-wiped down. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was sprayed onto the ceiling. Following this two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select were applied to the walls brushed and rolled. The doors were sprayed twice with a fine tip and urethane enamel called Advance by Benjamin Moore. New hardware was installed and the doors were rehung and the house was reset and cleaned. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Caillus New York. John and jill just bought their first home and wanted to udate the interior paint. After meeting with them to discuss their needs the quote was sent and acepted. Work began promptly about month later. Since, they had not moved in yet setup went pretty fast. We started by covering all the hardwood floors with clean drop cloths. Surfaces not being paint were taped and masked. hardware was removed and stored. Registers-returns-covers were removed and stored. Prep work including making minor repairs to walls with dings-dents-scratches using joint compound. The patched areas were then sanded to flush and spot primed, so they do no flash when top coated. The walls-molding-doors were lightly sanded to remove imperfections. Semas were caulked around all the molding. Next one coat of Sherwin Williams PorMar Ceiling Paint was applied. Following this two coats of Purcells Benajmin Moore Regal Select were applied brushed and rolled. The 20 doors were removed and setup in their basement in a makeshift spray booth. Each door was sanded-cleaned then top coated with two coats of Ben Moore Advance, the hardware was replaced and the doors rehung. Thak you for all the work and enjoy your new home!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint for a customer in Dewitt New York. Dr. Malley wanted to update his homes colors while he was on vacation for a month. His beautiful center colonial had very dated wallpaper and colors. Work began promptly about a month ago when he left town. We started by setting up each room for painting. This included centering furniture and covering it with painters' plastic, removing hardware-drapes, making a taping surfaces not being painted. This interior repaint included all the bedrooms and the entire first floor. Once each room was setup we prepped the ceiling walls , doors, molding. Preparation included removing the raised panel doors and setting them up in a spray jig in his garage, repairing walls with joint compound-sanding to smooth, sanding the doors-molding-caulking. Following these steps two coats of Sherwin Williams Promar Ceiling Paint was brushed and rolled, two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint were applied to the walls and last but not least two coats of Sherwin Williams ProClassic Urethane were applied to the doors with a fine tip sprayer and molding. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Fayetteville New York. Dr. Smith just bought a new home and needed the entire interior repainted before his family moved in. The houses 6,000 square feet was painted from top to bottom. We started by removing wallpaper , repairing walls and prepping rooms for fresh interior painting. once the floors-counters-cabinets-windows-hardware were tapes- masked two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling paint were sprayed brushed rolled. Following this the base-window-door-crown molding was sanded to remove the finish-cleaned-caulked. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse New York. Eugene and Gerard have an acting studio in the Hawley Green Neighborhood. Eugene is the neighbor of a customers home I painted across the street from his. After seeing the great work we do he hired us to paint the old wooden ceiling in the studio space from white to flat black and the exterior from beige brick to flat black paint. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint on Syracuses West Side. Mike Tersal called for a quote to paint their former bowling alley room. The club removed two lanes and epoxied them, Followin this they brought Donigan Painting in to repaint the rooms walls-columns-molding. We began by taping and masking off , covering the floors, repairing a few corners-holes with joint compound, priming as needed. Each surface was cleaned and sanded. Next two coats of Sherwin Williams Supe Paint in Grey were appied to the walls. The knee wall eas two coated with black paint. The columns were primed then received 4-5 coats of white-red paint, the polish flag colors. IN the bar area the columns were throughly scraped to remove some build up then coated to perfection.
