 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus NY.  Dan and Daisy just bought their first home in Syracuse after moving from New York City.  After meeting to discuss their needs we set the date, the contract was signed, colors finalized.  Work began about a month later.  We started by centering and covering furniture with painters' plastic in each room.  Next wall repairs were made with joint compound-sanded-primed.  Following this two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint were applied.  Next two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select Classic Grey were applied to the walls.  Doors-door/window moldings were sanded-caulked and two coated with Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd bright white satin.  Thank you for all the work and enjoy your new home!

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Jamesville NY.  Dave and Darla just bought a new home off of Maple.  They wanted to paint the entire interior.  After discussing the scope of the project, the quote was emailed and accepted, date set, colors chosen.  Work began about a month later.  To start all the floors-furniture-fixtures were covered with drop cloths, masked and covered with painters' plastic.  Next wall and ceiling repairs were made, and pole sanded to smooth.  Following this two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was sprayed.  Next two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal Select Simply White was brushed and rolled.  In between the coats the doors were removed and setup in a spray jig, the molding was cleaned scuffed and caulked.  Two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance Alkyd Chantilly Lace satin were then sprayed on with a light sanding in between coats foe a mirror like finish.  Thanks for all the work!

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior kitchen cabinet reface- repaint-resurfacing job in Dewitt New York.  Tim and Terry just bought a new home by JD High School with very dated kitchen cabinets.  After meeting and discussing what they wanted to do with their oak faced cabinets the quote was sent, date set, colors chosen.  Work began promptly about a month later.  To start all the doors-drawers were removed.  the hardware and pulls were taken off and stored.  Next each side of the cabinets were sanded to remove the polyurethane finish and scuff them so the new paint would adhere properly.  After thorough cleaning one coat of PPG Seal-Grip Primer was applied.  Once the primer setup a second coat was applied to fill the wood grains for a smooth flat finish.  The primer was them sanded with fine grit, 220, to a smooth finish surface ready for paint.  After being thoroughly cleaned again three coats of Purcell's Advance Alkyd in Chantilly Lace satin finish were applied.  Once the paint had setup for a couple days the hardware was replaced, and the cabinets were rehung.

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus, New York.  Lori just bought her first home after moving from New York City upstate.  The previous owners had not redecorated in decades and loved flower wallpaper.  After meeting to discuss her needs the quote was sent, date set, colors chosen, and contract signed.  About a month later we began work.  To start a few days was spent removing layers of wallpaper in half the rooms.  Once the wallpaper was removed many sections of the walls needed to be floated with joint compound because the wallpaper was not sized before installing.  Since she had not moved in yet we were able to spray two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint.  After this the wall were sanded and two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal select eggshell Classic Grey were brushed and rolled in each room.  Following this the doors for each room were removed and setup in a spray jig to be sanded-cleaned-sprayed twice of Benjamin Moore Advance White satin finish and rehung with new doorknobs and hinges in brushed steel.  Thank you for all the work!  Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior kitchen repaint, cabinet refacing, cabinet repaint on Onondaga Hill.  Jim and Janelle just bought a new home with very dated 90's original oak kitchen cabinets. After discussing their needs, the quote was sent, date set, colors chosen.  We started a few weeks later.  When we began, we removed all 50 cabinets doors and drawers.  Pulls and hinges were removed and stored.  A makeshift paint shop was setup in their basement using sawhorses-wood planking-painters plastic to contain the area.   First each side of the doors were machine sanded to remove the polyurethane finish and rough up the surface.  Following this the cabinets were wiped down and vacuumed three times to remove any trace of dust.  Once the doors were sanded and cleaned two coats of PPG's Seal Grip Primer were applied to them and allowed to setup for a few days.  Following this the doors were sanded with 220 grit to smooth out any irregularities then thoroughly cleaned.  Once prep work was completed three coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Advance Chantilly Lace satin finish were sprayed for a factory finish, no brush marks or roller stipple period.  Once the cabinets had setup for about a week, long enough for the paint to harden.  The doors and drawers where then replaced with their original hinges.  Once the doors were hung new 5–8-inch pulls were drilled and installed.  Thank you for all the work!

 Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Marcellus NY.  Mark and Stephanie just moved to Central NY from Massachusetts.  After meeting to discuss their needs a few weeks ago we set the date.  Work began promptly Monday morning three weeks later.  To start we centered and covered all the furniture.  Fixtures, cabinets were taped -masked.  Repairs were made to the ceilings and walls with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and primed.  Following this one coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied brushed and rolled.  Once this setup two coats of Sherwin Williams Cashmere Eggshell finish in Alabaster were applied to the walls.  In between coats the doors and molding were cleaned, scuffed, prepped for paint.  Two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Advance bright white satin were applied.  Thank you for all the work and enjoy your new home!
