Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Brewerton NY. Kip and Karen wanted to update their older Case Supply Kitchen Cabinets. Since the trend today is white cabinets that's what we went ahead and did. After meeting to discuss their needs and seeing the large scope of the project we hashed out the details, set the date, signed off, picked colors and promptly began work about a month later. We started by removing all 60 cabinet doors including all the hardware. Pulls were to be replaced so their original holes were wood puttied and sanded to flush then primed. A spray area was set up n their very large basement that included enclosing a 20 x 40 area with painters' plastic, drop cloths to contain over spray. All the cabinet doors were thoroughly sanded with 220 grit to remove the shiny finish-scuff them. The cabinets were cleaned with TSP to make sure all residues were removed. After being cleaned one coat of oil primer was applied and allowed to setup for a couple days for extra hardness. All the cabinets were also sanded, cleaned the same way to prep them for enamel paint. Once the ceilings-walls-floors were taped and masked two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Enamel bright white semi-gloss were sprayed. Following these two coats were sprayed on the backs of the doors then the fronts. In order to let the enamel, get nice and hard-dry they were dried for about a week before new hardware-pulls were installed and the doors rehung. Thank you for the work! Merry Christmas!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus, NY. Gwen and Gunther just bought a new home and wanted to update the paint throughout. After meeting to discuss their needs, the quote was sent-accepted, start date set, contract signed, and colors finalized. When work started, we covered all the floors with drop cloth's and carefully masked the cabinets-windows-counters-hardware-fixtures. Walls and ceilings were repaired as needed with joint compound-sanded-cleaned-primed. When prep work was finished two coats of PPG Speed Hide Ceiling Paint were sprayed. Following these two coats were sprayed on all the molding-doors with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Enamel ultra white semi-gloss. Door hardware was replaced and then rehung. Two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Classic Gray were applied to all the walls. Finishing touches were applied and that was a wrap skippy! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Recently Donigan completed and Kitchen cabinet repaint in Dewitt New York-Dewittshire. Megan had grown tired of here 90's natural wood grain cabinets and wanted to bring them into this century. After meeting to discuss her needs and look over the cabinets the quote was sent-accepted, the start date was set, contract signed. When I started all the cabinets doors were removed and staged in her large basement. The cabinets were sanded to remove the finish and top coated with an oil primer. Patches were made as needed. Once the prier setup two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Enamel Ultra White Satin finish were applied by sprayer for a factory finish. Two coats were also applied to the cabinets. Once they dried for about a week the hardware was replaced, and the cabinet door were rehung with new pulls. Thank you for all the work and enjoy your beautiful new cabinets.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Camillus New York. Lisa and Larry just bought a new home with very dated paint colors. After meeting to discuss their needs the quote was sent-accepted, the start date was set, contract signed, colors chosen. To begin we covered all surfaces with drop cloths, painters plastic, tape and paper. All the doors were removed and moved to the basement to be prepped and setup in a jig. Wall repairs were made, switch-outlet covers-registers removed. The walls were pole sanded to smooth. Door-window-crown-base molding was cleaned-scuffed-cleaned-caulked-secured as needed. Once prep work was completed one coat of Sherwin Williams Ceiling Paint was sprayed on all the ceiling throughout. Following this two coats of Sherwin Williams Classic Grey eggshell finish were applied to the walls throughout. Once this had enough time to setup two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Enamel Ultra White was sprayed on the doors and brushed-rolled on the molding. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse's Sedgwick Neighborhood. Tom and Terry just moved to Syracuse and bought a fixer-upper. After meeting to discuss their needs we set the date and work began promptly about a month later. Since their new home had not been updated in many decades there was wallpaper in almost every room. So for the first two weeks multiple layers of new and old wallpaper were removed layer by layer to the plaster. the walls were thoroughly scrubbed-sanded and repaired with joint compound before one coat of PPG Seal Grip Primer was applied. Cabinet's-counters-hardware were taped and masked -floors overed before one two coats of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint were applied. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Super paint were applied to all the walls. Following this two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Semi-gloss bright white paint was applied to all 30 doors, window-door-base-crown molding. Thank you for all the work! Welcome to Syracuse! Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in the Wellington Neighborhood Camillus New York. Gabriel just bought a new home in Syracuse after a move from Wisconsin to be closer to the family. After meeting to discuss his needs we set the start date, finalized colors and got to work. To start all the oak floors were covered with drop cloths, cabinets and counters were taped and draped with painters plastic. Hardware was removed-taped -masked as needed. The walls were repaired with joint compound, pole sanded to smooth, doors were removed and setup to spray. Before spraying the doors they were setup in a jig-sanded-cleaned then sprayed with two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald Enamel bright white semi-gloss. Following this all the ceilings in the ranch were sprayed with one coat of Benjamin Moores Ceiling Paint. The livingroom, mudroom, kitchen, hallway, and bedrooms walls were all two coated with Sherwin Williams Super Paint Classic Grey eggshell finish. The base-window-door molding was scuffed to remove the finish-cleaned then top coated twice with the same enamel used on the doors. First we centered and covered their furniture with painters plastic and floors with drop cloths. Next the walls and ceilings were cleaned and repaired with joint compound. The walls were sanded to smooth with a pole sander. One coat of Sherwin Williams Ceiling Paint was applied to the ceilings. Following these two coats of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Regal select Classic Grey were applied to the walls. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Onondaga Hill. Jim and Julie had the same colors on their walls for nearly a decade and decided to change it up. After meeting and discussing their needs we agreed on the price and scheduled the work a few weeks later. Upon arriving we centered all the furniture in the rooms we were painting and covered it with painters plastic. Hardware-cabinet's-counters were taped and masked. Their hardwood floors were covered with clean drop cloths. Next one coat of Purcell's Benjamin Moore Ceiling Paint was applied. Dings-dents-holes were repaired on the walls and they were sanded smooth after prep work. Two coats of Benjamin Moore Shark were then applied. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Liverpool NY. Mike and Jessica just bought a new home on Cloverfield. They plan to repaint the whole interior. To start we painted their 60 kitchen cabinets from walnut browns to bright white. When work started we removed all the doors and drawers for degreasing. After the were cleaned all hardware was removed and they were machine-hand sanded front and back with 220 grit sandpaper. After patching some holes two coats of oil primer were applied. After it setup for a few days to coats of Sherwin Williams Decorators White Satin was sprayed onto all the cabinets and doors. The paint was allowed to setup for a week before new hardware was installed and the doors were rehung. Here is how it turned out!

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Syracuse NY. Jim and Jarod just bought their first home together. These two wanted to put their own special touch on each room. So after meeting to discuss their needs we the quote was sent-accepted, the date was set, colors chosen. We started a few weeks later. Since we were doing both floors and they had not moved in yet we were able to spray the ceilings and doors. Before any of that took place we prepped each area. The walls were repaired with joint compound, molding-doors were scuffed with fine grit sandpaper to remove the finish, cabinets-hardware were taped-masked. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint bright white was applied. One coat of oil primer was applied to all the wood doors. After the primer set up the doors were sanded to smooth and two coats of Benjamin Moores Regal Classic bright white semigloss were applied with light sanding in between coats. We tackled painting the walls with two coats of SW's Super Paint Agreeable Grey eggshell. To wrap this one up hardware was replaced and we cleaned up top to bottom. Thank you for all the work!

We began by taping and masking her new kitchen cabinets , counters, and appliances. Repairs were made to the ceiling and walls that included neutralizing water stains, patching dings-dents. The walls were sanded and spot primer was applied as needed. The natural wood molding was oil primed and painted bright white. Two coats of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint on Syracuse's Northside. The Gethsemane Church is celebrating their 50th Anniversary and wanted to freshen up the outside and the inside with new paint. Susan called a few months ago for a quote to stain the cedar exterior and the sanctuary inside. We started by going around the outside of the building and knocking down popped nails, loose boards. The building was then pressure washed and sanded as needed. We pressure washed the building and sanded down some rough spots. Some areas where spot primed. Two coats of Olympics Maximum Exterior Stain Solid Cedar where then applied. Inside the benches where covers with painters plastic. Nail holes, scratches, cracks where filled with joint compound, sanded, primed. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint in Reflective White Satin where applied brushed and rolled. They wanted to remove wallpaper in a few rooms and repaint most of the interior. After quoting the work on the spot we set a start date , the contract was mailed and work promptly began a few weeks later. Recently Donigan Painting completed and exterior repaint in Syracuse's Lyncourt Neighborhood. Donna and Dean wanted to change the color of their ranch homes siding. After meeting to discuss their needs a quote was given on the spot then later emailed to them and accepted. A few weeks later the work began with washing the aluminum siding to remove the chalky residue it produces over the years. Once the house was cleaned and dried out for a day we came back and got right to work. Most of the prep was cleaning it so we were able to start applying paint soon after. They chose a light green for their white house. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint flat sheen were applied with a sprayer for a factory finish. When we met for the walk thru they explained what they were looking for and their time frame. After the quote was accepted, we set the date, finalized colors-sheens, signed off, the deposit was sent and work began a few weeks later. When we started they had not moved so we had an easier setup saving them some cash. After we covered the floors, taped and masked surfaces-hardware prep work began. There was some water damage in their livingroom that needed to be cut out and California patched, floated, textured to match. Dings-dents small holes were filled with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and primed. The doors, base-door-window molding were sand scuffed, wiped down, and caulked. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was applied to all the ceilings. Following this two coats of SW Super Paint in their choices of colors were applied. Once this setup two coats of Sherwin Williams ProClassic was sprayed on for a factory finish in bright white semi-gloss. We cleaned up, hardware was replaced and that was a wrap.

Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Cicero, NY. John and Jane just bought a new home. They wanted to repaint the entire first floor top to bottom. Luckily they had not moved in yet and preferred to have the work done prior too. So after discussing their needs we agreed on a price, set the date, signed off, colors where chosen.

When we started a month later we began promptly Monday morning with covering all the floors with drop cloths, removing hardware, taping-masking. Once surface's were protected we repaired dings-dents-holes in the walls with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and primed. Base-door-window molding were sanded-cleaned-caulked. One coat of Sherwin Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint was then sprayed on the ceilings. Following this two coats of Sherwin Williams Super Paint satin in Olympus White were applied brushed and rolled. Once the walls had set up for 24 hours two coats of SW's ProClassic Enamel bright white semi-gloss were applied.

Recently Donigan painting competed an interior repaint in Camillus NY. Ron and Lisa just bought a new home . They wanted to remove the dated wallpaper in a number of rooms and get rid of the smell of smoke-staining. Once the scope of work was determined the quote was sent-accepted, the date was set and work promptly began. Luckily they had not moved in so we were able to save them a bunch of money. Floors were covered, cabinets-counters-hardware were taped and draped with painters plastic-paper. One coat of Kilz Oil Primer was applied to mitigate the smokers stains on all the walls and ceilings. Following this one coat of Sherwin Williams Promar ceiling paint was applied sprayed. Two coats of SW's Super Paint in Olympus Grey were applied in an eggshell finish for easy cleaning and a light shine. Doors, base -window-door molding was sanded to remove the finish, scuffed, cleaned. One coat of Pro Classic Enamel bright white semigloss was applied. Hardware was replaced and we cleaned up. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Fayetteville NY. Tom and Beth just purchased a new home. Before they moved in they wanted to repaint the entire interior top to bottom. Cabinets-counters-hardware were taped and masked. Registers, returns, switch-outlet covers were removed and stored. Dings-dents-holes in the walls were repaired with joint compound, sanded, cleaned and primed. Once prep work was completed one coat of Sherwin Williams Ceiling Paint was applied through out the house. Next two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select in an off white eggshell were applied to all the walls brushed and rolled. The molding was scuffed with fine grit sandpaper, wiped down, and caulked before two coats of Sherwin Williams ProClassic Trim-Enamel were applied in a bright white semigloss finish. The new owners wanted to neutralize these colors and have a soft palette to decorate their home in using Simply White. They planned to have the work completed before they moved in some time was of the essence. Immediately after meeting to walk thru a typed emailed quote was sent detailing each step taken to brighten up their home with new colors. We started by protecting all surfaces not being painted with drop cloths, plastic, paper. Next all the walls were repaired with joint compound then primed with Purcell's PPG Seal-Grip. Once the primer had setup two coats of Pittsburgh Ceiling Paint were applied sprayed. Following this two coats of Sherwin-Williams Super Paint were applied. To wrap this one up all the doors-window/door/base molding were scuffed then top coated with Purcell's Regal Classic Enamel bright white semi-gloss. Recently Donigan Painting completed an interior repaint in Mattydale, NY. Christine is getting ready to sell her rental property on Malden Road. Her brother owned the property and recently passed. Since she lives out of town everything was coordinated over the phone or email. The duplex's interiors were in pretty rough shape. Both tenants were heavy smokers and owned cats. After making wall repairs, masking out and covering surfaces three coats of Purcell's PPG Seal Grip Primer were applied to seal the staining. After the third coat it finally covered and all the stains disappeared. Once the interior was completed we went right to the exterior and started scraping the loose paint to prep for new paint. Once the house was scraped. primed, and caulked one top coat of Sherwin Williams Duration was applied in the same color to match the rest of the house.
